Twelve members of our family came to the coast for an overnight stay. We rented three rooms for four people. We found the rooms spacious, well equipped, and comfortable. (No A/C - not needed for our stay). Hot water was plentiful. Check-in was fast and efficient. Service, when needed, was friendly and attentive. Breakfast was very nice with a large array of choices. Everything was fresh and tasty. The only thing that irked me a bit was being asked to fork over an extra 10€ for a baby crib. I was told it was for the linen. However, since we used the crib we didn’t use the linens of the fourth adult bed in the room. After paying nearly 700€ for three rooms for one night, it feels a bit cheap to have to pay 10€ for a crib. Apart from that, the Albert II was a great place to stay at and the service was great.

Great little hotel with a brilliant town centre location. The hotel was clean and comfortable - with the only odd thing that you could not turn down the heating in the rooms. In the bedroom area you could at least open a window but the bathroom was like a sauna the second you stepped foot into it. Breakfast was lovely. A good selection of food, including a couple of hot dishes (egg and bacon).

Hotel very central! The room we stayed in was off the main street. Very clean, staff accomodating when I asked for extra bedding, milk etc. The bathroom was very compact, but good shower with hot water. Good breakfast, continental, adequate choice. Would definitely stay again.

Very good location - we were attending W-Fest, so this hotel was a short walk away. i will return to Ostend for sure. Manager was very helpful and spoke good English.

Heel vriendelijke ontvangst. We mochten onmiddellijk op de kamer, super! (12 u). Die was netjes en rustig. Personeel is vriendelijk en behulpzaam. Lekker ontbijt. De ligging is ideaal ! We keren zeker terug !

Everyone working in this hotel was super nice and helpful, hard working. The hotel itself is in bad state. Surely not worth the price. No insulation at all. Listening all night on to people walking in the hallway, on top of us, heard the lift, showers. The room was in bad state of tear and wear as well. Will never visit again.

Location is great, but one must use municipal parking facilities. You can pay 25€ a day or park free by the station which is an uncomplicated 15 minute walk. Generally the hotel is a little dated and is showing wear, but it looks like they are making improvements. The beds were comfortable and linens clean. Our shower and enclosure leaked a little but it all worked. We were happy to support this family run hotel, in a resort town, especially at this particular time.

The property picture is misleading. It is a narrow building attached to another building. The noisy street was unbearable all night long. You can hear every step that people are taking from the room above. The breakfast was plentiful but tasteless, and not a single vegetable was served.

Good location, facilities which you would ot expect for the star rating e.g. hair dryer, fridge, so well equipped. Looks a little bit run down. Beds are ok. Overall it was good value and i wouldnt be deterred from going again.

The hotel is ideally located in the centre of town. Access with a car is not possible and parking is expensive. The hotel does have a deal with the nearest car park though. Our room was spacious although we did not get our tea or coffee replaced or the cups cleaned throughout our stay, which I find unusual for a hotel. It's a two star hotel, go there with that in mind and you won't be disappointed.

The hotel itself was fine, but if arriving by car, be prepared for "fun and games" in finding somewhere to park. Ostend is a typical coastal town/resort so is a nightmare for parking and a series of one-way streets makes it even harder to end up where you want to be. The hotel does have spaces in a car park behind the hotel, enquire at front desk and pay overnight fee up front. We arrived at 2100 to find their Asian style restaurant was already closed, very disappointing. Plenty of local alternatives thankfully.

Staff very unfriendly and place stunk like pee!!!!
