A very well thought out facility, nice relaxed atmosphere and tranquil location. Brilliant menu and fantastic quality of food and service.

The hotel is in a great location. The pool area is a very nice place to relax. Our room was in a group of separate buildings a short walk from the main hotel. The walls adjoining the rooms are a little thin and initially we were kept awake by the young couple next door banging the headboard against the wall while the young lady squealed with delight. After about twenty minutes of continual banging ( I don’t know where they found the energy from 😂) I tapped on the wall which seemed to damped their enthusiasm and we finally got a good nights sleep.

We stay at this hotel every year for the past 4 years, twice 2 days each time. Personnel is great, very open, helpfull and pleasant. Hotel and restaurant are beautifull. Meal and breakfastare lovely, beds are good. On hot nights it is a pity ther is no air conditionning because the room becomes terribly hot. Restaurant is always a little bit long, but you are told that it will a 1 hour and a half long meal.

We stayed for 6 nights in March 2014. The hotel smelt of damp and the pool area was not inviting. Breakfast was very basic and not worth the money. Flannels and bathrobes had stains on them belt loops were missing. The plastic bath was so slippy it was a death trap(no bath mat). Hotel staff were not multilingual. This hotel is certainly not a 4 star!

Hotel is not current anymore e.g. no ventilation on room, fitness or bathroom. The entire building could need a refurbishing, as most is worn out. Outside, the paint looks old and the building not well maintained.

Very friendly staff, but we paid for half board and the evening menu only had two options. The food was not nice at all. The rooms have no natural light or ventiliation. Nice location though.

Hygiene prima, accomodatie top. Een pendelbusje naar de kerstmarkt ontbrak, en taxi's rijden niet voor 1,5km. Het lopen is door ontbrekende verlichting langs de weg erg gevaarlijk. Hotel zelf was goed, incl ontbijt en mogelijkheid om te zwemmen. Vriendelijk personeel.

Le personnel est aimable et accueillant. La piscine avec ses transats donne une atmosphère agréable. La chambre était correcte bien que un peu datée.

Pricey and not amazing food at dinner, would recommend to eat somewhere else. Great rooms and having AC is great!

Heel vriendelijk personeel

Le logement est très bien. Le seul bémol c'est l'isolation au bruit . C'est un endroit calme mais le terrain de tennis été juste à côté de notre chambre et on entendait tout. Mais sinon le personnel est top.

Derde bed was een uitklapbed, lag niet comfortabel, ontbijt en diner was goed

fitness rook muf, badmintonpluimpje kapot, zwembad vies...

Zwembad met biologische water was goed, interieur op sommige plaatsen beetje verouderd, maar algemeen goed.

Maaltijden zeer goed. Concept (tropisch zwembad) niet echt ons ding.

Chambre idéale : accès vers l'extérieur (voiture garée juste devant) et vers la véranda/terrasse/piscine/restaurant. nombreuses plantes tropicales Menus variés et vraiment délicieux, serveurs attentionnés.

Hele leuke ervaring! Vriendelijk personeel!

Hotel Tropical ligt ideaal tussen Durbuy en Barvaux. Ideale uitvalsbasis om de Ardennen te ontdekken en als je voor de formule HP kiest, heb je er ook nog eens lekker eten als avondmaal bij.
