The hotel is a short and pleasant river-walk away from the centre and has a huge on-site parking. For the little price, I had everything and more than I was expecting: the mini-bar, a balcony, comfy room and bathroom with more than enough space. The only remark I would have is that breakfast could be improved with some cooked elements (e.g. eggs or bacon) and the coffee, for those who drink it strong, was quite weak. But everything else was great, the staff are friendly and I'd definitely stay again.

Good internet, ice dinner meals, bed a little too small, room spacious lots of parking, short walk to town and breakfast was good. It's my 5th time staying here, for the price well worth it.

The little village La Roche en Ardenne, is definitively worth a visit with the very intimate and cosy citu center and the mid-evel fortress just some hundred meters walking from the main square. The hotel is driving distance from city center and to our experience a bit pricy seeing the level of service and condition. The lower end restaurant is quite low-end. As we were bringing 5 small kids to the table this was somewhat ok, but the restaurant itself had very little charm. The rooms were ok, although with a strange two floor room design leaving extremely little space in the main room. No coffee in the room. There are plenty of things to do with kids at the hotel. Biliard, bowling, tennis, minigolf, soccer, playground. The pool was not open when we were there om October, but we basically had the whole parc to ourselves on the Sunday and had a great time with our 5, 7, and 9 year olds.

There were too many rules to remember staying here. Check out at exact 10am, when everyone is rushing to the front desk fearing the per guest surcharge if you don’t check out on time. One rule. You serve breakfast 8-10am then expect guests to rush to check out... no one asked how was our stay or even smiled. We weren’t allowed to hang dry our swim and sports clothes on the window, so they didn’t dry properly. Another rule. We had to find the maid for new towels because they have us 2 hand towels- how are we supposed to shower and dry? Another rule. No extra frills or amenities in the bathroom nor were they replaced- shampoo nor soap. If you visit here, plan on packing more than you think since the hotel doesn’t offer too much.

The twin beds were very uncomfortable and breakfast is 8-10 a.m. but checkout is at 10 a.m., do the math!!!! And don’t dawdle on your way out, they will bang on door at 10 am and start blowing up the phone to get you out!! Brush your teeth in the parking lot folks. On a good note: Tavern service was great, my server managed to address my food allergies.

Reception on arrival could benefit from improvement. No one at reception on arrival, waited quite some time for someone to come. Very rushed through check in. Very little customer service. My aunt also thought that the service was shocking on booking in and felt that the cheaper hotels that we had stayed in during our trip provided the best comfort and customer service.

The bedroom was tiny. The smallest I have ever stayed in.Ok shower was good, plenty of room there. View was good. Area is very beautiful. Gorgeous town. This is a busy hotel/apt complex for breakfast and perhaps it was asking too much for cooked food.Breakfast is cold meats and cheese. This may suit some people but would have preferred fruit and yogurt.

The town is beautiful! The outside of hotel was great- looks like a castle. Great playground for kids outside. Breakfast was nice- you can make your own eggs. Our room was for 4- pretty dated but very clean and comfortable beds. Air conditioning in the bottom floor- we had a loft where the kids slept- very warm up there! The bathroom was newly renovated it seemed but smelled of sewage. That was our biggest complaint! It was really bad! From the moment we walked in the room- that's what we noticed first- the smell :/ if that hadn't been an issue- then I would've given the room comfort a 4. The bar area was very dated also and only offered beer, wine and Jameson. Learn some French- very little English spoken in this area. I'd stay here again if the bathroom didn't smell so bad.

The room was average - small but clean. We had two twin beds - perfect for a romantic evening. The outside of the hotel is quite nice, and it is in a very lovely location. The breakfast was adequate.

Nice place along a river and just outside town, located in a narrow valley, looks like a great summer vacation spot!! For us it was only 20 minutes from Bastogne. Allowed us to do our thing without being in the 11,000 strong in Bastogne.

Down point our boys weren't aloud to use the pool as you could only go in wearing budgy smugglers which the male's in my family refuse to wear. Fantastic hotel brilliant for families with lots to do to keep the tribe entertained. The staff speak french and whilst the excellent reception staff spoke perfect english not many of the restaurant staff did, so pack your phrase book.
