Good Stay

If I could give this place 6 stars, I would. We stayed at Altstadthotel Weisse Taube last week and it was absolutely perfect from start to finish. The location is unbeatable, tucked right in the heart of Salzburg’s Old Town, making everything walkable while still feeling quiet and charming. The rooms were spotless, comfortable, and full of that classic European character you hope for but rarely get. The staff? Next level. Friendly, helpful, and genuinely welcoming in a way that makes you feel like a regular, even if it’s your first visit. Bottom line: if you’re going to Salzburg and don’t stay here, you’re doing it wrong.

Everything is easily accessible by walking out getting a taxi I highly recommend staying here This was my sisters and my second year in a row.

The location was wonderful, within walking distance of almost everything we wanted to do. The hotel is in an historic building therefore it lacks some of the modern conveniences. It makes up for it though, in style and charm. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in Salzburg and within the Alrstadhotel Weisse Taube.

The room was relatively clean with friendly staff. Well located and generous breakfast available.

The hotel itself was decent enough but is more of a 3 star hotel than a 4 star. Bathroom was a bit dirty, and the hotel and the room are just ok but felt like the photos weren’t true representation of the hotel itself. We did not at breakfast so can’t comment on that but the best part is the location.

We originally booked outside of Old town and changed at the last minute to this property. Sooo glad we did! The location could not have been better. Easy easy walk to everything. Did not need a car at all. This hotel was absolutely perfect. Close to EVERYTHING. You will regret it if you book anywhere else. Rooms were super clean. Staff was more than helpful. Not having been to Salzburg before we were not sure but after staying here we knew we made the right choice. If you are a first time traveler to this city hope this review helps. You can book here with total confidence. You will not be disappointed, I promise you!! One note on restaurants, if you get tired of Schnitzel there is an Irish bar and restaurant literally 30 feet from the front door of the hotel that is awesome. Great hamburgers! Enjoy your stay!!

The rooms were so clean, staff were nice, and it was the perfect location. There was food all around and walking distance to the cathedral, the castle tram, etc. I would definitely stay here again.

Location was perfect. Close to tourist attractions, shops, food. Staff was pleasant and helpful. Would absolutely consider coming back to Altstadthotel Weisse Taube.
