Room was ok, heather didn’t work, bed was very noisy and not super comfortable Bathroom wasn’t super clean and smelled like humidity all the time

Overall very good. Excellent location. Issue with Checkin which was at a hotel 100 feet or so uphill from this hôtel. Notice of this was done only at entrance to hotel. Breakfast also serves at the other hôtel. Both hotels have same Owner.

Had to ask for a change of room to meet our requirements. Staff very happy to oblige.

Good location, rooms are clean, simple but decent

The hotel is quite small. It's in a great location close to the town square and Melk Abbey. It is also walking distance to the ferry dock. The staff were friendly and helpful. However we spotted a few cockroaches in out room. The shower did not drain properly.

Nice and close to everything, larger than expected, but a bit confusing layout. Staff were courteous, but not very eager or able to help with parking issues.

Worked perfect for one night in Melk. Convenient to the Wachau Valley as well as Melk Abbey,, which is steps away from the pension. The staff was very friendly and helpful. .

Free bikes were useful and breakfast was wonderful.

A slightly tired Pension which provides an appropriate experience for the rate charged. Be aware that booking.com nominates breakfast is included in the advertised rate, however the owner said this was wrong and we had to pay.

Very good location of the hotel. It's very close to the Stift Melk, which is a must see. Also the historic city of Melk is beautiful. The hotel itself is OK. It's not expensive though, so you get what you pay for. Especially the staff in the hotel is very nice and friendly.

In my opinion this hotel should be rated a 2 or 2.5. When we arrived the reception/front desk was unattended. After wondering around a bit I was able to find an individual that called for help. We arrived at the hotel at approximately 5:00PM. The room was OK, but the TV did not work, the WiFi was sporadic( I had to either go into the hallway. Or sit in the bathroom) there was no soap in the bathroom. The breakfast was very sparse. I quest I should have been more skeptical with the price, but the reviews were good.

Clean and crisp simplicity, exactly as expected. We checked in quite late and found the English-speaking receptionist to be very pleasant; not the least bit annoyed at our arrival in the quieter hours.

Our room was very nice and clean but there is no elevator which makes it difficult to travel with a baby. Overall, a very nice hotel with clean rooms in a great location.

Great location in Melk just a ew minutes walk from the main square. You can also park just outside the pay zone behind the hotel. Nice and substantial breakfast included. Our room was fine but a little small. Very tight en suite bathroom. Wi fi was very weak and hard to grab signal.Overall was very satisfied for the price and really enjoyed the Wachau area. Staff was also helpful with storing our luggage.

very nice and clean pension. The rooms are a bit spartan but very clean. bed was very comfortable. the breakfast (included) was basic continental breakfast; coffee wa great. We paid in cash at check-in....great value!
