It was difficult finding the entrance to this hotel. I got stuck on the back side for 10 minutes. Signage is poor or misleading. I was only able to find the entrance by calling the hotel. Inside the hotel, signage to rooms is also poor. My room had a number that was not marked by any signage. I had to call front desk to find the way to my room. At checkout, I provided the feedback and the staff told me that they are skeptical anything will ever change. Other than that, it is a fine hotel. It is what you would expect for 3 stars. Breakfast was good, room was basic, but clean.

It was a nice, older hotel. It had Klima and was located in a place that was not directly located over both beds, so that was a plus. It was also a very quiet unit. The personnel at the front desk was extremely helpful. The "buffet" breakfast was so so. It is worth staying there.

Great stay. Solkan is small and quiet plače, hotel is located in the center, a few minutes walk away from river Soča. Hotel has a lovely bar with terrace and garden. Food at the restaurant is very tasty. Breakfast included. Hotel has a lovely terrace upstairs. Parking in front of hotel. Would stay again in this hotel.

It was great. The hotel is in a nice and quiet part of town and very close to the center. Room was small but big enough with mini bar and latest TV set with more than 100 channels in different languages. You have free wi-fi in the room and over all hotel.

Very good value-for-money hotel with friendly and welcoming staff!

This is the cheapest place I stayed in Slovenia, and only because it's not in a touristy town--the quality is just as good as elsewhere. The staff members were polite and efficient, and the room was large and clean. I did get some noise from neighbors slamming doors, but that's common. It's maybe a 15-minute walk to the center of town. Parking is ample, and the on-site restaurant looked good, though I didn't try it. A very good option, especially if not a light sleeper.

overall a very positive experience. dinner was very good for a very reasonable price.

Nice welcoming, castle style corridor and staircase. The bath is outdated but clean and well equipped. The wifi was really weak. I couldn't use the TV probably because of the battery of the remote control. The restaurant of the hotel was really good and fast. Breakfast was also good.
