The property is located on a beautiful lake, Sally and Jan made us feel very welcome, prepared a lovely breakfast for us in the morning and set us on a great path to explore the Halliburton Highlands. Our stay in the Pine Studio was lovely and we made great use of the fireplace.

Great location overlooking the rapids, with the lake accessible at the edge of the of the property to SUP. Lots of wildlife. Very quiet and a great place to relax.

The hospitality was top notch. We felt welcomed. Sunny Rock is the ultimate Canadian getaway. We highly recommend it!

Sally's friendliness and warmth was exceptional answering all of our enquiries from sights to activities and special places to visit. We were treated to a gourmet experience for breakfast and met some wonderful International guests..The energy of the natural surroundings was pure, invigorating and revitalizing ...it was wonderful and refreshing!!!

we recently stayed at Sunny rock and I have to say it was great. We booked the rom which was set apart from the main lodge and I could not have asked for more. We had both privacy and the luxury of a wonderful breakfast accompanied by a few other guests and the enjoyment of some history of the area and the lodge as well as a lot of fun just gabbing with the host Sally and the guests, lots to do and see in the area as well

My parents stayed at Sunny Rock for three nights and I’m writing this review on their behalf (having dropped them off and picked them up): they had a FANTASTIC time! The BnB building, its bedrooms and grounds were a delight, the breakfast was fantastic and above all Sally was a font of knowledge about the area. My parents loved visiting the local sights with Sally, who took them to the sculpture forest and town museum - they loved learning about the history of the region, the development of the area through the logging industry and the expansion of lock technologies across the lakes. They could very well also have simply stayed at the BnB and relaxed in its beautiful setting (but Sally seems to magically know when someone is up for an adventure or just wants to chill on the patio with a glass of wine). Thank you!

I Guess from start to finish was just amazing, the peace and quiet just listening to the river,birds chirping is just stunning and very relaxing! The property owners made us fell so at home and the breakfast that they made for us was out of this world so delicious! You just can’t ask for more from these very nice people! It’s a place that everyone should experience!

A wonderful place to retreat, reflect, rejuvenate, and be in nature. Sally and Jan were beyond kind and considerate to us and the other guests. I love the what is it game. The accommodations were clean, tidy, and so much to see. The smell of pine, the tiny change in the tree colours, the calming sounds of the river...what is not to love about this place. Honestly, it met our needs in ways we didn't even think of. Enjoy your visit. We will return. Sue & Kevin

A fun place to meet people and do some sight seeing. Breakfast was delicious. Sally is a wonderful host. She runs a tight ship, and provides a fun space to relax.

This place is beautiful, amazing view to the river, the owner is a great host makes you feel at home.

Incredibly quiet and peaceful property, well appointed main rooms and bedrooms, private swimming area, sleeping with the sound of rushing water over the falls less than 100m away and an amazing breakfast!

Sally, Jan, and Ace are super friendly and the property is beautiful. I left feeling relaxed and recharged.

Imagine arriving in a beautiful lake side resort and hearing the sound of free flowing water. You are instantly greeted by amazing hosts and made to feel so welcomed in their home. In the evening, the host encourages gatherings and conversations. And the next morning you are treated to a gourmet and filling breakfast while playing interesting guessing games and continuing the evening conversations. That is exactly the experience we had with Sally, Jan and Ace at the wonderful Sonny Rocks B&B. Could not have asked for a more peaceful weekend away from the everyday, impersonal big city life.

We had a wonderful time with Sally and Jean at their cottage, they were informative and very helpful. We would definitely recommend this place to anyone looking for a getaway.

The experience was comfortable and pleasant. Sally and Jan were friendly, accommodating and lovely. It was my first experience in a b & b and I'm certainly glad it was with Sunny Rock. At my first night, Sally suggested a room that was an upgrade from the one I chose free of charge which I greatly appreciated. Sally was also helpful in suggesting some local nature hiking trails that were great and others activities to do around the area. I would like to return to Sunny Rock and I would also recommend it to friends/family.

Very high quality B&B, great hosts, very relaxing place to stay and unwind. Looking forward to going back!!
