Did not need the a/c and parking was good.

Air conditioner didn't work. Neighbors were loud. Not enough pillows. Shower water kept going from warm to cold. Mini size shampoo/conditioner bottle. Guess services close at 10!!

Spartan/minimalist and dated accommodations, friendly staff, no attached restaurants, lounge, exercise, or pool... ...nothing like that. For a guy or couple needing simple accommodation, for a single night, this would probably suit most - would not recommend the same for single female travelers or extended stays. Due to its close proximity to downtown, the neighboring area remains a bit rough (street people) and staff lock the vehicle gate at the rear of the property each evening for good reason (laneway activities).

Our room was clean and spacious with a King Size bed. Everything we needed was provided. Our room was located at the back which made it private and quiet. The property was well maintained and we felt comfortable. We would certainly stay again and highly recommend this motel for others

A simple place, nothing fancy. But the bed is comfy and the staff are kind

There is no amenities. The rooms were okay. Beds are old spring beds so not the easiest to stay in long term. Staff are decently super happy. Our stay was very full and had some dramatic neighbors and the staff didn't want to deal with it.

I have stayed at the Harbour Light Motel for probably 10 years now, whenever I am in Nanaimo. A basic motel room, clean. Lovely staff.

This is a great motel. Everything is clean and you can see that they stay on top of their maintenance. Yes, the front of the hotel does border a busy road and I can't comment on the noise level in the rooms that look out on to the road, but we had a room at the back and we had a great night's sleep. The hotel staff are also friendly and accommodating.

It was my 2nd time staying at Harbour Light Motel. The owner and staff were always friendly and helpful. Overall clean renovated room. Convenient location not far from downtown. I definitely will stay here again when I come to Nanaimo next time.
