There was a musty odour we turned off ac and opened patio window to have fresh air.

The front desk staff were very kind and accommodating. Great place to stay in Port Alberni.

We got there early and we were able to get in the room. Very clean and comfortable. The only resteraunt was Japanese.

The smell of the room (I've stayed in 2 different rooms here while in town for work) will knock you over when you first walk in (if you're normally a clean person) - it smells like someone's been hiding a year's worth of work socks and underwear under a mattress. The rooms are "generally clean" but I had a look around with my handy dandy UV light in the dark and, yeah, no. The views are underwhelming but we were there to sleep and work - although we did get to enjoy a view into the trailer park next door for a couple nights. The staff was friendly.

Nice and clean rooms. Only drawback is washroom do not have exhaust fan.

Room was comfortable and clean. Walls are quite thin, so we could hear conversations in the next room. Very friendly, helpful staff. Exterior looks a bit run down, and the view from our balcony was of old equipment and buildings. All in all, an affordable choice if you are only passing through. I would stay here again, but not for an extended stay.

It was great and affordable! Would have loved more toilet paper in our room only because we didn’t request housekeeping for the 3 days. The Sushi restaurant was the bomb! Absolutely recommend this place! Wish we could have our dog stay with us. Also only one down fall was the comforter smelled like arm pit.. they should be washed.

We were there for a night. We did a late check-in; they close at 10 pm, but one of the staff did her best to let us check-in. Everything was okay, just the stuff was old, that's it.

Very friendly and accommodating staff! Newly renovated., clean and spacious! Parking included. Close to downtown and quiet. Comfy, large beds. Great stay at a great price!

The room was spacious and very clean. A nice bathroom and toiletries. Big bed. Good sized fridge and microwave. Attached Sushi restaurant was obviously busy. We just bought dessert as I cant eat Sushi. From 6 am there was some road noise but not all night as some previous reviews had suggested

It's an older building for the motel rooms, however there has been an upgrade at some point to modernize the bathroom and beds. Room was "clean" but the remaining carpet section in our room at least, had "dirty smudges" in the main traffic area, likely from work boots from past occupants, and it doesn't vacuum out. Thought the room might be noisy from highway traffic, but actually it wasn't an issue. Bed and pillows were quite comfortable, and had a good night's sleep.

Great hospitality and enjoyed our stay. Will come back again
