Was just looking for a simple clean place to sleep and then keep driving rhyme next morning. This was perfect. Clean quiet. Excellent

It is not value for $$. Owners did try to renovate the washroom but old bed/old pillows and musky smell makes it hard to have a good night sleep.

I’ve been at this motel many times and will keep coming back. The room are clean and smells good. The staff are friendly. The location are close to grocery and shop and restaurants and also walkable

Evident pride of ownership-updated room in residential area 2 minutes walk to the lake.

The new owners took over 2 months ago and are working on improvements. I like the retro look of exterior and interior of the motel which is a short walk from the relaxing view of crescent lake and portage golf course. It is in a quiet, residential neighborhood and a short drive from shoppers drug, banks, gas, dining options on Saskatchewan Avenue West.

Renovations going on, so a bit messy and noisy, but it needs to be done, so it was fine. Very nice young lady working.

Awesome! We stayed for one night but it felt like home: very clean, very comfortable beds, very quiet. The room had 2 queen beds and kitchenette but there was still enough space to hangout with a family and a dog. The owner was so nice, so friendly and made us feel special guests. She called me to check on us because we were late and provided additional towels as there were 4 of us and the room was prepared for 2 people. Excellent experience! I'd give 10 Stars if I could!

This is an old rustic 70s motel that perhaps would need some renovations. With that said, it is very clean and is well located in the town of Portage La Prairie. Comfortable bed and fine shower. Very good service at the front desk.
