Very clean, cozy and welcoming.

The property was very clean. Room was spacious and bed was comfortable. Room is equipped with a microwave, a mini fridge, a kettle, a toaster, and all the basic kitchen utensils and cutlery you may need for your short stay. The only downside is that there is no place to eat near the Chalet or in town unless you drive to nearest town Pictou which is 15 minutes drive away.

The host was helpful in suggesting nearby restaurants. The view from our cabin was spectacular. Cabin was clean and comfortable.

It was a beautiful place to stay. The outdoor pool was clean and warm (cleaned every morning). The road to go in was a bit rocky, but well worth it. Lots of trails and outdoor activities. The deck could use some work & stain, also there were no chairs to sit on outside on either your own back deck or the main covered porch. The community bbq for the motel sites barely works and could use a cleaning. The rooms were relatively clean but could use a good dusting. We were able to get late check out, which was wonderful. The parking was an issue for the motel but that was mostly due to the guests inability to park NOT the place itself. We would definitely stay there again!!! I just wish the office was open longer and maybe had some sort of events going on for the campers. And had more to offer in the general office\store. BEAUTIFUL VIEWS THOUGH! Just bring your own chair LOL

Everything perfect. Away from main road

It was a very quiet setting up a long gravel drive through the woods overlooking the mountains. Only downside was that there were a few bugs in the room and the outdoor pool was not heated. Enjoyed our quiet stay! Bonus was that we were given an upgrade to our room without an extra charge

Amazing views and lots to do for a family retreat. Pool hot tub and other activities there. Close to everything and hosts were pleasant and helpful.

Although adequately clean, we found the kitchenette sink stopper to be not working and not enough items to BBQ with even though the information listed a BBQ to be available. The BBQ was not clean and we used aluminum foil over the grill for sanitary reasons.

Mattress was the worst I’ve slept on during our 17 day holiday, staying at 10 other motels/hotels. Wasn’t aware that our bed would be in the loft area of cabin without air conditioning in 30 degree weather, didn’t show that in description. Otherwise cabin was cute and area was nice. Because of the bed I can only give them a 5/10.

Great cabins nestled deep in Pictou County. Nice and quiet stay.

Our stay was nice. The location is beautiful and the staff we spoke with were very polite and helpful. We arrived very late and they made it really easy for us.

Everything was wonderful. The staff were just lovely. The only problem was we found the bed uncomfortable. It wasn’t unbearable, for one night. Overall, I would highly recommend this place. It is beautiful.

Very cozy cabin..clean and fully equipped..hot tub perfect. A perfect peaceful getaway.

Lovely spot

I spoke with a number a people that stayed for the weekend. They were all disappointed in the cleaning. The building are getting older and are being run down . Two burn on the store didn’t work . The seal on the wood stove needs to be replace as it was a windy night and the house filled with smoke . Checkout time was 11 am . Clocks went ahead Saturday night . The staff in a truck stopped beside our cabin looked at his watch at 11:15 . It was if he wanted us out asap. 6 people checking out taking abit . Anyway we were less than pleased.
