Comfortable stay

Built in 1924 so not soundproof but character for sure. As good as you can expect for a hotel 100 years old !

The building has seen better days, very few attempts at moderizing. The rooms were ok and the bed good but the carpets are a consistant black (not there natural colour). There is a special breakfast menu for guest with $2 off but only tow choices. No matter the service your tips start at 18% for the restaurant.

Was a very clean hotel, but hallway and elevator are small, and rooms aren’t very soundproof.

This is a charming older building with beautiful views. Lovely staff and three great restaurants. Would never stay anywhere else in CB.

Eautifully decorated & maintained

The room was clean. All staff were friendly and courteous. The place is getting a little dated and could use a touch up here and there, but otherwise it is more than adequate. The waitress in the Carriage Room Restaurant was very friendly and provided great service at breakfast.

I’m sorry to say that we stayed on November 18-19 and I sent an email but didn’t get any answer back, so I guess I will have to pay for December 18-19..we did enjoy the hotel it was great!

The staff were wonderful and the dining room staff were so friendly.

Yes the room clean. Some lights didn't work but notified the staff at checkout.

The room was very nice and clean bed was comfortable, the only thing I didn’t like was the lady at the front desk she wasn’t very pleasant or helpful the other couple we were with complained about the same thing.
