Lovely inn in quiet location, Tracy and Martin are delightful hosts. . We really enjoyed the ambiance and the on site restaurant and would fully recommend it.

We had a wonderful relaxing stay. The property was beautiful, the room was very clean and comfortable and the host was really friendly. It was a great experience.

We came for a long weekend / wedding. Inn is very quaint, in a very beautiful old house with a very historical architecture, decorated with good taste, convenient location close to the town centre. Although our experience was good overall, we disliked the breakfast (lack of choice) and our room was a bit outdated (no ventilation in the bathroom and bed frame was very creaky). Also, soundproofing is poor - we could hear other guests in their rooms and people walking in the hallway. Overall nice experience, perhaps a little expensive for the price. Did not eat lunch/supper at restaurant so cannot give an opinion on that side of the inn.

The Shadow Lawn Inn was exquisite! We could not have been happier with our accommodations and the restaurant was beautiful and the food just delicious. The property is a beautiful vintage Victorian Home. If you are visiting Saint John NB this is the perfect quiet place to stay and it is only a 15 minute drive to the downtown. We would most definitely recommend the Shadow Lawn Inn. Thank you for a beautiful experience!

We could not have asked for a more perfect place to provide us with a much needed post-wedding rest & relaxation getaway. Beautiful accomodations and staff. We will most certainly stay with them again.

A lovely old inn with attentive management and a great restaurant

Beautiful property, lovely room and super comfortable beds! Staff were helpful and pleasant, and breakfast was delicious! We were very impressed with our stay and would definitely stay again!!

It is a well maintained old building ...but is is an old building and its hard to compete with modern heating (bedroom comfy/bathroom very cold). Bed is soo comfortable as well. It is entirely unique however in the charm, intimate interaction and beautiful dining area (i could not take advantage of this visit but hope to when I return) To be honest, it was the event entertainment (Theresa Malenfant! excellent always) that drew me there...but the overall experience will bring me back.
