Perfect lodge style hotel in one of the most idylic towns. Very convenient parking in the basement for 12 CHF per day. Good breakfast available. Right in the center of the village - so very convenient to walk around.

Adelboden and Bären Hotel are absolutely lovely. The staff at the front desk were very friendly and helpful. They provided us with information and gondola passes that made our days there easy and fun.

Absolutely loved my stay all staff very friendly indeed.

Hotel was in a great location and the staff were really friendly and helpful. English was spoken very clearly. My room was a single and quite small but suitable for my purpose, which was basically sleeping and showering. You receive a free local bus pass which I did not need and a card for price reductions on the cable cars which saved me a fair amount, not sure if this is given during winter - check beforehand. There was some noise from the square where there are a few bars, which you can only hear if you open the excellently sound proofed windows but the hotel provides free ear plugs if required.

I had a fantastic stay at the Hotel Baren! I chose it as my grandmother had stayed in this hotel many years ago. Tanja at at the front desk was outstanding-her customer service was amazing ! Also the restaurant was fantastic n I was so impressed by Alena with her outstanding service !

I arrived at 9am on Saturday and was able to use my room to change. The single room wasn't big, but was certainly comfortable, and clearly newly decorated. Breakfast had limited choice, and with hindsight a dash to the bakery opposite would have been fine for me. A great little option in the heart of the village.

We stayed several days in a superior room, breakfast included. The room was good, bathroom excellent. Very good reception service. Breakfast not very advanced, but very good and everything you needed. The restaurant is very good, no need to dine in the evenings another place! The free community guest card and the free pass for all the cable cars are both a highly welcome and valuable extra that will make us consider coming back

Very, very good hotel, friendy staff, clean rooms, very good shower, good breakfast and last but not least in a very beautiful surrounding. Recommended!
