Location was perfect.

Located in the heart of Basel yet very quiet.

Location was fantastic in the old town where all the atmosphere is, a 5min walk to the Kunstmuseum, 5min walk to City Hall, 10min walk to the Rhine river banks and 3min walk to the Munster church and many other museums

Location is fantastic. Room was okay. Small thing- there wasn't a bin in the room which I found unhelpful. The shower was lovely. The bed was comfy.

Motel One Basel is a perfect location for anyone attending Christmas Markets as the lobby opened onto the Plaza where one of the Markets was staged. Transportation on the tram line was just across the plaza so having no car was not a problem. I arrived prior to check-in but the front desk is staffed around the clock and they stored my luggage until my room was ready. I would stay here again.

Fantastic location, outstanding staff and service, great breakfast for a reasonable price, spacious and comfortable room (though no coffee machine or water kettle in the room), fun vibe, convivial lobby and bar area.

Room was clean, staff were very friendly and accommodating, however the room was very hot as the heating/air-conditioning could not be turned down

If you are planning to visit the Basel Christmas Market, this is the ideal hotel. We had a great stay.

In the centre with good tram service. No fridge or coffee making facilities.

Nice clean hotel located within the Christmas Market area. Perfect location for wandering around Basel on foot.
