Excellent property management great hosts felt right at home . Awesome staff, extremely helpful. Dinner was great. Breakfast was excellent. Location was heavenly close to ski slopes. Room was cozy and comfortable.

There’s an Argentinian lady at the front desk, I also saw her helping out everywhere. She is simply a masterclass in hospitality! She made me feel so welcomed and tried to make my stay as pleasant as possible and would gladly take the extra mile for the guests.

One could not find a more beautiful location and devoted staff. The breakfast and dinners were the best! Very close to St. Moritz. We would stay again. The owners are fourth generation and really care for the guest and property.

Fine, well kept hotel in a quiet town near the Julier Pass, with somewhat dated room. Furniture and interior furnishings did not appear to have been updated since the early 1990's, when wing that we stayed in was completed. Breakfast buffet was excellent and comprehensive. If you're looking for top notch lodging and dining, there are other towns in the region with better choices. Location is right in the center of town, and some distance from the main road, so we were not disturbed by passing traffic.

would have given this hotel 5 stars except for the bed which had no support as a result I slept badly. The room was large and quite and the staff were very friendly and helpful. The breakfast was good. No lift.

If you want a quiet in a quiet, high mountain valley, this is a good choice. Excellent accommodations with friendly staff.

We didn't really know what to expect, and arrived in the dark in pouring rain. But we had a fantastic welcome from the owners, and even though we had booked one 4 bed room, they had space to give us 2 adjoining rooms which was fantastic (kids 3 and 5). We ate there that evening - food was great (if very expensive - but that is true almost everywhere in Switzerland). Breakfast in the morning was equally good, and the local area is fantastic for walks (long and short) - highly recommended, hotel being a perfect base for that. Would definitely stay there again - we booked principally because we wanted to visit St Moritz and the hotels there were 3 times the price. This hotel is only 30 mins away and, frankly, is in a far more picturesque location!

Minotel Solaria did the job for a quick stay in the Swiss Alps, but not much else. If you're looking for somewhere with all the bells & whistles i'd look closer to St Moritz, but this could be a great family destination for the kids to learn how to ski.

Though we only stayed one night, we really appreciated the personal attention given to us by both Joanna and Nadine, in the hotel and the dining room. Breakfast was wonderful. Bivio is a lovely town, out of the way a bit from where we were going, but Minotel Solaria was a delightful respite from our travels.

Very pleasant and helpfull staff, despite language issues, helped make our two days in this wonderfull area.

Fin liten fjellandsby med superhyggelig vertskap på hotellet. Restaurant i tilknytning og elbillader tvers over vegen. Sjarmerende sted. Ganske lytt mellom rommene, noe som ikke gjør noe når «naboene» tar hensyn, men det gjorde ikke våre. Men det er ikke stedets feil 😊

Wir haben hier eine Nacht im sehr gemütlichen Vierbett-Zimmer verbracht. Viel Holz, ein spezuelles Kajütenbett und eine Originelle Dusche prägen dieses Zimmer mit einem abtrennbarem Raum für die Eltern. Ein Erlebnis!

Bivio, die Perle am Julier. Nicht nur das Dorf, sondern auch das Hotel Solaria ist eine Perle. Beste Lage für Wanderungen und einen eigenen Reitstall für ausgedehnte Wanderritte. Restaurant mit lokalen Spezialitäten im Haus überzeugt auch.

Es war alles super. Die Leute waren sehr nett und hilfsbereit. Das Essen war hervorragend. Es ist empfehlenswert hin zu gehen.
