Nice hotel, comfy bed, lovely shower, beside train station

Charming, convenient with beautiful views of the lake and town. Will stay here time and time again.

Our second time at this hotel this year wasn't quite as great but still good. We booked a lake view room and ended up in a very uninviting room in a corner on the 3rd floor. I had asked to check in early but the hotel hadn't seen my note, so we ended up running around the city for 3 hours in the rain. Staff was still friendly and the room was very clean. Best thing for this hotel is the convenient location next to the station and the yummy breakfast. If you are sensitive to noise beware. The pation overlooking the lake is hasconstruction work going on. Once this is done, it will surely be remarkable.

Very nice hotel with a great view, but construction noise was an issue during the day.

Comfortable and clean. Lovely view of the lake. Very limited dining choices. The hotel dining room is good, but I had to take a bus or walk to the center for more choice. Many places were closed on both Sunday and Monday, making it difficult to find a place to eat. Construction noise woke me by 7:30 on Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday.

As the city Neuchatel has few vegetarian tourist, the breakfast is not good for them. We faced this problem.

Definitely get a room with a view of the lake! The staff were lovely and the location was across the road from the train station, but still quiet and safe.

Very good location friendly staffs. The restaurant the food was very good and a great setting but the waiters after they served us the meal disappeared and forgot to bring us our coffee and when it was time to pay I did need to look for a waiter no one was in the dining room. Great room very clean with a nice view of the lake and the Alpes.

Spacious room / suite in annex. AC worked well. Ambiance: concrete bunker. Large windows with nice views. Could use a shelf adjacent to the (tiny) sink in bathroom for toiletries (to avoid placing shaving kit on toilet cover). Good breakfast. A few small adjustments would make this an exceptional room; as is, it’s merely good.

Handy being 30 seconds away from train station. Not much in area as far as bars or restaurants. No bar in hotel either. Beautiful views of lake from room though.

Really nice atmosphere in this hotel and very good evening meal in the restaurant. I bet it’s lovely sitting on the outdoor terrace overlooking the lake on a sunny evening. Shame it was raining when we were there!

Very close to the train station and the gentleman who checked us in was just great. Really helpful and friendly.

Nice large quite basic room had a nice balcony.

The room was clean, spacious and the bed super comfortable. The only down sides were that the front desk lady was a bit rude during checkin and later on her and a cook were shouting about another colleague of theirs and I could hear it all the way up to the bedroom - not super professional. Plus I could easily hear the guests in nearby rooms.
