Lovely hotel right opposite the ski lifts! Family room was very comfy and the breakfast was fab. Really good option for dinner with a lovely modern alpine feel. Compliments to the whole team and the lovely family that managed the hotel. Highly recommend

Our expectations were exceeded! Traveling from so far away I was unsure of how we would get to the hotel without a car with our luggage. The hotel is so close to public transportation that it worked beautifully! And the staff was helpful in no less than 4 languages. We had an amazing experience.

Perfect location for a family holiday

This is a fabulous hotel for a family ski trip. Located opposite the lift and with a nice spa in the basement.

The view was lovely. The staff were really nice. However their pillows were literally 10 years old and mattress was so soft and old, I couldn't sleep all night. The pillows basically have no feathers left. Hence the sleep was bad, and there's no one present at night whom I could ask for help.

While the reception staff is very friendly, we were sorely disappointed with the room. Very small rooms, hardly any room to move around. Felt very claustrophobic. Bathroom though small was clean but shower was so narrow leaving any room to turn around! Breakfast was okay. Not going back!

No coffee or tea in room. Balcony view was of street not mountains. Staff was very good and helpful.

Fabulous hotel with excellent dining, hot tub, great balcony, easy access to public bus —- and right next to the two great lifts to spirit you up top for summer hikes, or winter skiing. The old town is just steps away, as are several equally fine restaurants, but being able to bus in, and stumble across the street to the ski lifts make this a real find. The hotelier was very professional, seeing to every need, joking with customers in four languages. The hotel included free access to lifts and local buses, meaning our hikes were at Moiry Glacier, atop Zinal Lift for a weekend songfest & party, and and a second peak just above the hotel with a 90 minute return walk that was out of Sound of Music. Hit the hot tub, catch snacks, cold beer and sandwiches at the nearby grocery store and pastry shops, it’s a smash village to a valley with constant views.

The hotel is cute and recently renovated. The room was clean and comfy. Bathrooms are kept very modern. The SPA section is small but well put together and modern.

Very nice week-end, perfect location, nicely renovated and good restaurant/breakfast. Beds are awfully soft and old. Service could be better, parking is super narrow.

I had an excellent stay at Alpina. The rooms are basic: clean and comfortable but would benefit from a renovation/uplift at some point in the future. The Wifi works excellently. The staff are fabulous, so friendly. The restaurant is good (super breakfast included, and a good dinner for reasonable price). The bar in the restaurant is cool. Best of all, it is 20 meters from the gondola/lifts. I highly recommend Alpina!

Good Location, the rooms were comfortable and in good shape, and the staff was great; but, I felt the following were negatives: 1). The Wi-Fi could not be used in the rooms but only in the Lobby, 2). When you left the Hotel temporarily you placed your Room Key in a Board by the Front Desk where anyone could have taken it and robbed the Room, 3). European breakfast was sub-par, especially as to variety and choice, and 4) Room cleanliness was not excellent.
