Highly recommended for families as the location is very good inland the hotel staff very nice and supportive

The owner was excellent, very friendly and helpful. The breakfasts were great and plentiful.

Our stay was wonderful. One of the best breakfasts ever, offering fresh, good quality food, great variety, arranged elegantly, included in the hotel cost also. Very soacius apartment and extremely clean. Great location to stop between Zermatt and Bern or Geneva; quiet, fresh mountain air also. Affordable price compared to busy, small hotels in the city. Manuela, the hostess was very helpful, patient and accomodated even our very late check in at 10:30 at night. She's fluent in English besides French and German. Her 81 year old parrot, an African grey, called Remi is a rescued pet, adorable and unique, adding to the whole experience. Charlie, Manuela's husband was friendly and helpful as well, making this such a welcoming, family style lodging.

Amazing hotel owner! Never met a person who went out of their way to be so helpful! Breakfast buffet was the best that I ever had. Homemade breads, pastries, assortment of meats, vegetables and fruits Nothing was missed on the buffet. So difficult to chose what to eat She helped me use the washing machine since there was a language barrier and even offered to dry them for me so that I could enjoy my day. We even extended our night more more night because it was such a friendly place. Hiking around the hotel is amazing! The cable car ride up the mountain was great as well as all the hiking.

this hotel was fantastic - the room was a good size, immaculately clean, good shower, a terrace with a fantastic view, table and sunloungers. the hotel staff very extremely nice and very helpful and forthcoming with tips and suggestions of things to do. the breakfast was truly excellent with lots and lots of options, freshly baked bread and croissants, jams, great coffee and cheese, hams, i could go on for ever. i wouldn't hesitate to stay there again and thoroughly recommend it.

Manuela is an amazing host. We stayed at Dala for 3 days and her recommendations made sure we made the most! The location of the hotel is within close proximity to everything and the hotel card offers great discounts at a lot of places. The room was clean and breakfast was great as well. Will love to come back again!

Very pleasant stay - the receptionist was incredibly helpful, giving us advice about which were the best winter hiking routes in Leukerbad and how to get to the cable cars. She also explained the varied choice for breakfast in great detail the following morning, even down to which size mug for different types of coffee from the coffee machine! Lovely view from the balcony in our room and nice to have a small sauna and steam room in the hotel too. Hotel is very centrally located, with just a short walk to the bus station, restaurants and thermal baths.

The hotel itself is located very centrally in the small town. It is hardly 3 minutes walk from the bus station and has various dinning options at and around the hotel. We had a balcony facing the mountains and the views were incredible. The hotel staff is very friendly and helpful. The breakfast buffet was nice and well stocked. The check-in lady was nice and honest - she clearly told us that our room might be a bit small for us and that might hear some music at certain times in the day. In all honesty, the faint music didn't bother us at all, even with an open window. Overall a great little family-run hotel that we can highly recommend.

The hotel is near the bath, the food is great, including the breakfast buffet.

We were here in mid may (off-season), just before the lifts started operating. At arrival we thought the hotel looked a bit shabby/old, but the inside was better. We were met by a man working in the kitchen that did not communicate very well in English, but the message got trough. Parking were offered at a nearby garage for 14 CHF a night, but we found an free alternative, which seem easy in the off-season. Included in the price was the "Leukerbad Card Plus", which allowed me to buy a 3-hour ticket to the "Burgerbad" for 17 CHF. Free WiFi was a plus. The room was generally nice but smelled a little. The restaurant was one of the best things about this hotel, with good service and food.

Hôte et hôtel charmant ! Petit déjeuner excellent. Attention, prévoir de stationner votre voiture dans le parking de la mairie (pas loin mais 14 CHF par jour). Hôtel juste à côté des thermes de Walliser Alpentherme avec une eau thermale exceptionnelle (j’ai du psoriasis, bienfait immédiat). Le cadre est splendide avec vue sur les montagnes. L’hôtel a un prix spécial réduit. J’ai moins bien aimé le Leukerbad Therme pourtant nettement plus grand. Peut-être un peu de chlore et de monde dans ce complexe plus grand. A faire une fois quand même. Ne manquez pas de faire la balade vers la source : c’est vraiment très beau. Albinen mérite une visite (bus gratuit depuis l’hôtel de ville), petit village pittoresque. Leuker Stadt, puis Sion (château de Tourbillon et basilique de Valère superbes !) pour une journée de visite hors Leukerbad. Malheureusement les téléphériques étaient fermés lors de notre séjour. Leukerbad est assez isolé mais vous apprécierez l’altitude et ses bienfaits, des eaux thermales de grande qualité et la possibilité de faire des balades intéressantes autour. C’est beau, et calme. L’hôtel est bien situé, la terrasse grande et bien exposée. La chambre bien équipée. L’équipe de l’hôtel vraiment attentionnée +++ La surprise « du confort à l’allemande » pour la couette éventuellement en seule demie-surprise : couette single même pour un lit double et toujours un peu courte je trouve par rapport à la France. Mais c’est général en Suisse Allemande. Je recommande !
