The staff was amazing, especially Sofia. The breakfast was incredible and service was incredible. Other food fir purchase items were also delicious. Great suggestions on things to do and places to eat. Also fantatsic at making driver arrangements for airport pickup, winery tours, etc. The place has such a cool vibe and the views are stunning. During the day you can walk down through the neighborhood tonshop, eat and site see, but highly advise using ride service (Uber) any time after dusk.

Stunning views, friendly, helpful, English speaking staff . A lift might have been handy but steps are definitely a part of Valparaiso

A unique hotel worth experiencing! We stayed in the Malbec suite in the 3rd floor with the most beautiful private outdoor area. The space was large and very comfortable. The rooftop bar was perfect for a nightcap. The staff throughout the hotel was amazing!

Great place to walk around Valparaiso and see all the neighborhoods and colorful houses. The staff was very helpful and attentive. And we were glad there was a parking garage so we didn’t need to worry about where to park. It was fun to sleep in a repurposed boxcar. I was surprised how much room there was. It even had a kitchen.

Such a cool, original hotel with amazing views. Rooms included full kitchens.

Wonderful staff and stay. Great wines and food. Location is a bit farther from the cool stuff but still attainable. I gave one star less for food since the floors seemed dirty in our rooms and left our feet black. But it is a dusty place.

We had a really nice stay at the Winebox hotel in Valparaiso. Rooms were comfortable and quirky being made from old shipping containers. The staff were all really friendly and helpful with any queries we had. Breakfasts were really good in the mornings with some traditional eggs and cakes. Only slight downside was the location as it could be a bit noisy in the evenings and it is up a steep hill so would recommend a means of transport to get back to the hotel. Area around the hotel didn't seem the safest at night.

Amazing location above the town of Valparaiso views from room and all balconies incredible. Staff are so helpful and friendly assist with everything. 10 stars ✨⭐️🌟💫 can’t go wrong staying here. Highly recommended they also have maps of what to do where to go.

A unique hotel in a unique city.

I recently stayed at this hotel and had a horrible experience. The bathroom lights didn't work, and despite asking three times, no one took the time to fix them. The location is terrible, with no safe parking anywhere around, as the hotel sits on a hill right along a curb. The fan in our room didn't work, and even though we requested a replacement, it never happened. The next morning, they texted me saying they placed another fan outside our room, but it was too late. The food was below average, and the only positive aspect was the nice view from the room and the rooftop. However, this definitely wasn't worth the hassle.

This is such a cool hotel. We loved the vibe, the style, the amazing breakfast on the rooftop and the friendliness of the employees. So lovely!

Quirky hotel and great for a stay , not in a great area .

Overall a great concept. Love the different wines offered. First time sleeping in a container, can hear your neighbours as there is no sound proofing between the walls. Cleanliness could have been better as there was chocolate on the sofa cover, cobwebs on the furniture outside and tables in dining area on rooftop patio were dirty.

Super rooms with amazing views. 20 -25 minute walk to most downtown spots but easy to Uber for $5 in 10 minutes. We left our rental car in their secure garage. It is tiny (5 spots?) but works . Highly recommend. Great rooftop terrace for breakfast and sundowners.
