Staff was friendly. Location was great. Staff was very helpful in making local recommendations. Clean with good privacy and a decent bed which in my experience was hard to find in CR. Proximity to beach and the pool was great to have. We had limited time but Uvita seemed like a great town.

Close to the Nat. Park without being right in all the traffic.The pool and dining room were nice. Dining room closed Tuesdays so went next door to eat -not a good choice as we are still feeling it.

Tropical beach me otorgó la peor bienvenida a Uvita. Teniendo todo confirmado a través de Expedia, me avisa, llegando nosotros al hotel que no teníamos la reserva. No respetaron nuestra confirmación. Simplemente, nos quedanos sin hotel. Esa misma tarde tuvimos que buscar otro, que por tiempo no reunía las condiciones de comodidad que nosotros buscábamos. En definitiva, NO recomendamos hospedarse en Tropical beach hotel.

There was no fridge, even a small one. As well, no kettle to make coffee or tea. These two factors means one cannot make or store food and liguids.

No hot water the first night. No working tv during our stay. No coffee maker. The music next door, at night, was so loud that we checked out a day early.

Beds were hard, room was small. A/C worked well, saw lots of wildlife, places to eat within walking distance

OK hotel near the beach, rooms near the pool are a bit small (bed is almost against the wall on one side and there's no bedside table or lamp on the other side, as there's no space), but overall a good option for staying in Uvita. Breakfast is an extra 5000 colones and has 3 options: granola with yogurt & fruit (they call is muesli but it's granola), Costa Rican (gallo pinto with eggs), and American style (eggs, bacon & toast)

Un endroit magnifique et calme à quelque minutes à pied de la plage. Très bon restaurant avec un excellent service et des prix raisonnable.

This place is a gem. Our room cabin number 1 was huge. Ac and hot water worked perfectly. The host was extremely helpful. We were steps from the beach, parrots flying in the early morning. The room had everything you could need. There were restaurants very nearby. And one on site. Our favorite was the Native bar next to the beach.

Nice hotel very close to NP Ballena beach entrance. Rooms basic but clean and friendly staff. Jaffa restaurant on site serves excellent cocktails beers and dinner, although breakfast service was distinctly slow.

Everything about our stay at Tropical Beach was excellent. We arrived late due to a delayed flight and they made arrangements for us to park and receive our key after hours. The room was spotless and had everything we needed. The staff was friendly and helpful and went out of their way to help us with anything we needed. The pool was a nice respite from the heat and humidity and the restaurant on site was delicious. All that and it was affordable, comfortable, and, yes, they have hot water (I know this is an issue at some other places). We truly enjoyed our stay.

We love hotel tropical. The staff are friendly and it is close to the beach. The Jaffe restaurant right on the property is yummy. The rooms are starting to show their age. Lots of minor broken things, a ceiling fan, the window lock, etc.

Overall satisfactory experience Suggest the use cleaner towels (the ones we used were worn out and stained)
