The property is in the heart of the Medina which was good. A little hard to find at first, but that's the same for all properties in this area. The main courtyard was nice, however the room was tired and old. No mirror, no wardrobe, very basic and old room. No sheet changes. No toiletries, just a very small bottle of shower gel. The breakfast was the same every day. 1 croissant, some french bread, tea, coffee, orange juice, a couple of dips, and a Moroccan butter flat bread with cheese. Would have been nice to have an egg or sausage but no. Staff friendly.

Our hotel stay was extremely amazing. The staff are super friendly, our room was beautiful. There is a terrace as well where you can enjoy the view and get in the pool. Our breakfast was also the best hotel breakfast we had in Morocco (stayed in 4 different hotels, this is the best). I highly recommend this hotel.

I loved my stay at Dar Hidaya! The riad is conveniently located off the main walkway and near the parking lot (since you cannot drive in the Medina), so it was less than 5 mins walk to grab a taxi/shuttle. The hosts were so welcoming and I felt right at home. The room and bed were very comfortable, as well as a good AC unit that was so nice after a day of walking around under the hot sun! I would highly recommend staying here for the friendliness, warm hospitality and I almost forgot to mention the complimentary breakfast each morning! I loved the fresh OJ, coffee with an assortment of different breads with honey and butter spreads. I stayed a total of 4 nights but could have easily stayed longer because of the hospitality. Thank you!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Hassan was the perfect host and organised a medina tour for us on our first full day with an excellent local guide whose knowledge was amazing. We did a full day tour to Chefchaouen and the Riad provided us with a packed breakfast to take away with us since we left early that morning and would miss the delicious breakfasts provided at the Riad. The breakfasts were absolutely delicious with fresh fruit and Moroccan breakfast delicacies as well as mint tea and it was lovely to chat to Hassan and his staff there as well as with other guests. Everyone was so friendly and welcoming. The Riad is in the medina so perfect for exploring the medina. They organise airport transfers which are really useful and cheaper than taking a taxi from the airport. We would definitely recommend this Riad and hope to stay again if we are ever again in Fes. Thank you for such a memorable stay!

Special thanks to Mohammed and Hassan for making our stay smooth and great! It's very important in a foreign country like Morocco that you have a local person helping you with advice and information! The guys helped us in every way and even escorted us and helped get a taxi on the last day. I highly recommend this riad for this personal touch and hospitality. The only hiccup was that their card machine didn't work and we had to get cash from ATM and spend extra for the ATM fees. So it's advisable to have enough cash in your budget to cover the stay. All in all we had awesome time in Fes. Thank you guys!!

Good, authentic hotel. Very delicious breakfast was served. Comfortable for healthy-leg people only as the breakfast is up in the 3rd floor, with high stairs. For those who are having difficulties with walking and stairs have to take account the lack of elevator in this ancient building. The absolute positive is the friendly and very helpful staff, helped with getting some food in, also helped to leave the hotel and medina area and catched the taxi for us. The staff is absolute positive 5*, thank you so much.

A cozy quiet place to stay. First time in 2-week stay that we slept soundly.

The super staff made up for my room being 95% comfortable instead of 100%. Mohamed did everything in his means and beyond to make our stay comfortable. I took my three children all under three with me and we felt at home away from home- that is not easy with children.

El Riad a pocos minutos de la Puerta Azul,y de los principales puntos de interés, así como a pocos minutos de Restaurantes y zona comercial.La habitación tal cual se ve en las fotos,limpia, y decorada con gusto.Me gustaría destacar la amabilidad y hospitalidad del personal, nos brindaron ayuda y consejos sobre la ciudad y como moverse por la Medina,nos ayudaron con la contratación del traslado de vuelta al aeropuerto.Hicieron que el viaje fuera perfecto en todo momento.Si se necesita pueden conseguir guías para la Medina.El desayuno sencillo, pero con productos locales y hecho con todo el cariño.Gracias por hacernos sentir como en casa.

Ma compagne et moi avons passé une excellente semaine dans ce ryad très agréable, calme et silencieux. Il est très bien situé dans la médina El bali, à proximité de la médina el Jedid et proche des lieux et sites à visiter. La chambre, à la literie parfaite, est confortable et aménagée avec goût. La salle de bain et les sanitaires sont propres et fonctionnels. La vue depuis la terrasse est splendide sur la médina, les montagnes de l'Atlas, le bordj Nord et les tombeaux des Mérinides. Le petit déjeuner est copieux et excellent, composé de produits locaux et frais, cuisinés dans l'instant. Entre autre spécialités nous avons apprécié particulièrement les Mélaoui (des crêpes feuilletées et le Jben fromage blanc de brebis). Le personnel est disponible, amical et rend volontier de nombreux services comme aider à porter les bagages depuis et jusqu'au taxi, commander les excursions... Nous recommandons vivement le Ryad Dar Hidaya dont nous gardons un excellent souvenir.

Le petit déjeuner est copieux et bon, frais, et les propositions de guide de visite de la ville et des extérieurs parfaite, nous avons pu apprécier la ville et les environs grâce à ces guides, merci

Great place to stay

Das Riad ist wunderschön und bietet eine angenehme familiäre Atmosphäre. Bei jedem meiner Anliegen wurde mir sofort geholfen, Onkel Hassan hat immer sein Bestes gegeben um meine Wünsche zu erfüllen. Das Riad sehr empfehlenswert, alleine schon der lieben Mitarbeitenden wegen!

Les hôtes étaient très réactifs et à l’écoute. Hassan et Mohamed étaient très serviables. Le petit déjeuner était copieux.
