Hotel staff in breakfast room were magnificent. Lovely friendly manner and excellent breakfast. Our room was in the second building and unfortunately it was above a jazz bar which was quite loud at night. Our room was also very dark and quite stuffy. However, being in the old town as soon as you step out the door was amazing. I would recommend a stay in this hotel.

This is a small boutique type of a hotel - very charming . Since it is conveniently located inside the old town of Kotor it can get loud at night , especially if you sleep with open windows . Breakfast was great with buffet items and also a la cart items . Suggestion - contact the hotel before arriving and arrange to have them come with a golf cart on the north side (river gate ) to get you and your luggage . The streets are very narrow here and hard to navigate during peak tour hours. Also, bring some cat food since you will be making a lot of new fluffy feline friends here .

This place is beautiful, very old but updated and tight in the middle of the old town!!!! Put your door are charming cobblestone streets and walking distance to the wall and all of the charming squares Montenegro has to offer. A ten minute walk at the mist to the bus station. Our room was big and SUPER quaint!!!

Front desk staff were very helpful and the parking was made simple due to staff assistance. Great location in old town. Clean rooms. A little bit loud in the evening due to proximity to a few bars.

A very nice hotel and having the ability to park was a big plus. Fresh oj for breakfast! The minus is that there are a lot of stairs for some of the rooms and the street music at night can be loud.

The hotel Monte Cristo was stunning - old stone walls and our room looked like a Venetian queen’s bedroom, while also retaining a cozy atmosphere. Huge thanks go to staff for helping secure sparkling wine and cake for our engagement night and offering a free breakfast upgrade! We loved staying up all night at our window watching the square below. Thanks for making our special day so wonderful :)

Very cool property in the heart of the old city. For us, staff went above and beyond to make the check in process extra smooth. Based on the location in the heart of the city, it's not the quietest place to stay, but this is a one of the kind place and definitely worth it. We loved this place!

A beautiful hotel right in the old city, with parking a short 5 minute walk away. No elevator but the staff volunteered to carry the luggage. The only problem is that next to the hotel is a club with loud music into the night hours

The staff at Monte Cristo were amazing; very helpful and very good communicators regarding parking, hotel location, sights to see etc. They were also very efficient. We went down for the included breakfast and when we came back to the room, the beds had been made, garbage removed and towels replaced. It was so fast. The breakfast was also very well done, with a combination of buffet and ordered food. The location is great for accessing the town’s sights but just a heads up, we were over a jazz club. The music was great but did go on late into the night. We were there over a weekend, so this may not happen all the time.

We ended up in the annex next door to the main hotel, however we had a lovely spacious corner room. The hotel is in the middle of the town, which is very touristy, and didn't quieten down until midnight. However the convenience made up for that. The staff were friendly and welcoming, and the inclusive breakfast very good.

Really nice property and super nice, friendly, and helpful staff. Only concern was that there are two bars nearby that play thier Music too loud till 11/12 . Not the hotels fault, just a shame those bars can’t behave or the Police wont keep them in line.

Location was perfect for exploring Old Town Kotor! Keep in mind no cars allowed in Old Town so need to haul your luggage from one of the gates to the hotel but it’s not a very long distance, about a 4-5 mins walk. Restaurants and bars all around. Keep in mind it can get noisy at night but we closed the windows and turned on air conditioning which helped block out the noise. Room is spacious and bathroom facilities were well equipped given that the building itself is quite old. Overall had a wonderful stay and would highly recommend!
