Physis had soo much character and Juliet was beyond helpful - a very graciously kind hostess. It was such a relaxing and exotic place to stay as my introduction to Costa Rica!! I highly recommend it!

This is a lovely property, beautifully designed and a joy to stay at. Juliet is a great hostess who is helpful considerate and knowledgeable on the area. The breakfasts are superb and the overall vibe is relaxing and calming. Highly recommend this hotel.

Juliette was an amazing host and was very helpful with ideas of things to do and see in the area. The room and grounds were wonderful and the fresh breakfast in the morning was such a bonus! We were sad to leave and would definitely stay there again.

We had a lovely time at Physis. The most relevant aspect for us was the fact that we were contacted by the hotel staff before our arrival, a watsap was created for us and we coild easily communicate. Julliet was very welcoming and shared with us important transport contacts and recomendations for the area, this made our life much easier. Cristina (if that is the name) was also very polite and caring.

Would stay here again on a heart beat. Helpful comfortable and delightful.

Loved everything. Location, facility, hosts, breakfast. Pancakes 11 out of 10!. So helpful arranging passport run to Panama.....bocus del Toro. Fantastic!!

Highly recommend Physis, Juliet is full of information to share. Unique B&B, very relaxed and chill place to hang out. Rooms were clean, we had the outside shower it was great, big shower plenty of hot water. the place is exactly as seen in the pictures. Go with friends and relax at Physis.

Just Amazing!! I felt at home. The most comfortable I've felt in a while. I just adored the property and the host! I'll most likely be back as soon as next week. Ohh my and the breakfast!!!! Superb!!

We only stayed one night even though we paid for three nights. The rooms are on the first floor with the owners living on the top floor. The room had two windows but because it’s a walled in compound you get the claustrophobic feeling of being in an inside room on a cruise or being in a basement room. My wife hated it. So we left and returned to the hotel we had just checked out of the day before. Also the room had many spiderwebs that out in the open. For breakfast the coffee was good but our omelettes were served cold. Overall not a place I would recommend given the price.

Cosy little place. Juliet looks after you very well and the breakfast was perfect. Only stayed one night but no complaints

We loved the breakfast, fresh fruit and the options provided we all delicious. The hotel grounds and seating areas were very nice. Matt and Juliet are very nice and helpful with providing suggestions for things to do & see in the area. Location of the hotel is good, close to groceries, beach and some restaurants.

AWESOME B&B with great hosts. Walkable to the beach. Vegan food available. Lots to see in the area, it's nice to have a car but you can also bike or walk to most things.

Beautiful and tranquil. One of the nicest boutique hotels I’ve stayed in. I traveled alone and felt very safe here. Breakfast is wonderful- fruit and eggs to order or pancakes good coffee. The outdoor areas are so inviting. The hosts are Amazing. Always available for advice and knowledgeable about best beaches and restaurants. Housekeeping is excellent. I left a tip for her and she checked to make sure it was for her! I will return.

We loved our stay albeit short. Easily spotted sign to turn off highway even after dark. We parked our car & were welcomed like family by the owners. Relax is spoken here. Clean, comfortable, inviting spaces. Breakfast prepared & served at no charge all in a serene experience. Very gracious and helpful staff with suggestions for things to do while in Puerto Viejo. Bikes available to rent. Close to beaches. Can't wait to return for more nights at the Physis Caribbean.

This bed and breakfast is outstanding in every category. Mike and Juliet are lovely innkeepers. This place is a must!!
