Auberge, très bien située et très bien entretenue. Personnel ultra sympathique, déjeuner gourmet. Une valeur sûre. 10/10

North Hatley is a beautiful place, calm and sourounded by nature. The restaurant across the way, The Pilsen, is great and I would strongly recommend it. Our stay at the Auberge was ok, the room was exactly like the pictures, amenities as promised. Some parts need a bit of care, like the carpets on the stairs, but overall no complaints. The breakfast was good. My only recommendation: don't bother writing to the property because I don't think anyone reads it.

Very charming place in the heart or North Hatley

This is a three star Hotel. The room was very clean. The bathroom was very clean. However, the room that they assigned me was on the fourth floor. I am 78 years old and had a suitcase. There was no elevator. A very nice young man carried my bags for me however, the hotel manager was not there and when she was called on the phone, she would not give me a room on a lower floor. This hotel was not full at the time.

Clean rooms and very quiet. Staff friendly and helpful but no one on site after 6pm that we saw. Breakfast was good - actual omelette etc served at your table and not just a buffet of cold cereal and bread. Overall our stay was very nice

Unfortunately, the money paid for the quality and the service provided does not match. The staff are rude, when I complained about an issue of cleanliness in my room (their was hair in the bed that isn’t mine, I also noticed hair on the floor but never bought that up with the staff, I just asked for the bedding to be changed), the staff rudely replied she was up since 6:00 that morning and the beds have already been changed and it is normal to have hair that might have been caused by electricity. I politely replied that I understood her point of view but I would still like the bedding to be changed (because no, it’s not ok or clean to have someone else’s hair on your bed, I’m not sure how this is up for argument), she was visibly bothered by it and said that she would do it but I should help. I did not help. I sat on my chair until she changed the bed because as a customer, it makes no sense to say ‘you should help’. I’m not getting a free night sleep. I frankly couldn’t believe the audacity but remained quiet because I was very tired after a long drive. As a customer who is paying, this is never and should never be a reply. I also have early work days and in fact my work days start at 5:00 AM. I took a solo trip to relax. I would never tell my customers ‘ I was up at 5:00 AM’. If your staff do not like their job, let them change it, but it’s unprofessional and inappropriate to take it on the customer who is paying over $300 to stay a night. We expect hospitality.

The breakfast menu was fresh. However, we were charged a $7 tip for the breakfast even if it was included with our night stay. This was like our breakfast had cost us almost $47 at a 15% tip. This is not mentioned anywhere on their website. There also was an additional $7 for a tea in the lounge area. Nowhere was there a sign for this. These added costs put a damper on this place we stayed. It felt dishonest from the hosts to not mention this at all prior when we picked up the key to our room and they had read to us the many rules of the Auberge. Not going to stay there again.

Very nice and kind owners. Breakfast was delicious!

The room was spotless. Extremely clean and the bathroom was updated. This hotel set the tone for my trip! It was picturesque and the staff was so gracious and polite. Truly beyond what I expected!

Room was spotless. Excellent breakfast. Had the amandine croissant and the banana chocolate crepe. Lovely area.

It’s a great location above the chocolate shop and cafe. Breakfast each morning was pleasant. They had gf options which we appreciated.

We stayed 3 nights in October. The staff was very nice and it was a comfortable stay. I would definitely stay here again! So conveniently located.

Good people, very personable and accommodating and the location was perfect. I was a one day/night excursion into that part of Quebec and the overall experience was memorable
