Great for a night stop in a quiet location a short drive from the ferry to Digby. A standard but quite well equipped motel and a missing item was quickly supplied by the owner. Very good value for money

The room is clean, was fairly quiet, . All we needed was a simple place to spend the night and it was . Could use a drinking glass in room unless the water is not drinkable? We arrived late , left early, so little interaction with staff.

We left the motel at midnight and slept in our truck. It was that bad. It was run-down and felt unsafe.

Friendly staff, got a upgrade because of full capacity at no extra charge, bonus...if your looking to lay you head and sleep its great. If you are looking for higher standards, maybe not for you. Reasonably priced in my opinion for the summer season. Not to parents there is no pool, but aquatic center, dominion beach and rockwood park which has beach and playground are within minutes away.

Imagine a room filled with furniture that would not be picked up if left on the side of the road.

When we got there our room was booked to someone else so they upgraded us to a suite. The suite was an apartment down the road that was unfinished and the tub didn't even have faucets. Very disapppointed.

Only good thing: quiet residential location, close to plazas. Other than that: 1.Extremely old buildings with 7' ceilings and moldy "pioneer village" kind smell. 2. Sanitary drains above the floor and require an electric drain pump (that periodically turns on making loud noise) to prevent the sewer from overflow into the rooms. Afraid to imagine what happens during power outages... 3. Light fixture above the bathtub (electrocution hazard). 4. Broken garbage can: won't open by a pedal. The cover has to be lifted manually. 5. Dirty floors and funny smelling towels and blankets. 6. Non-armed but loaded with moldy bait mousetraps and mouse droppings in the cupboards. 7. Moldy shower curtain. 8. Found 3 spiders and a couple of other insects in the room. 9. Metal skillets provided, yet no range. How metal kitchenware can be used in the microwave oven? (Wouldn't use them anyway: extremely dirty.) 10. No A/C. When I was there, it wasn't warm at all, but how do tourists survive there in the summer? 11. No entrance mat. Very important, since it was raining and the floor was getting messy and slippery. Notified the owner 3 (!) times over several hours to get a mat and a couple more towels (for a family of 4, there were only 2 towels). He was "busy" even in the evening, while not present at the site. Finally, he brought 3 towels (1 as a mat!) after the 3rd call, when I already told him that it was no more relevant, since we were about to go to bed.
