Limited choices of accommodation in Trail BC so this property makes the stay extra special. Very helpful staff; quick response on communication. Will stay again!

While the owner is just so lovely. Staying there it’s not as lovely. If you like a budget motel that has a few issues… walls and blinds and dressers and stuff may not be dusted or clean. Running toilets and taps. It is comfortable and nice to have space.

Room was clean. Sunny (owner) is very friendly. A little noisy but it’s expected. Good value.

I was able to live comfortably with the microwave and fridge but it would have been helpful to have a set of cutlery and a bowl! The place was clean on arrival but very limited cleaning was done for my 8 day stay. The towels were changes very regularly. The heat was excellent!

Great price, comfy bed

The rooms were clean and very spacious. Close to Trail, Rossland and Red Mountain. The owner Sunny is a wonderful person, enjoyed having a little chat with her whenever she wasn't busy running around taking care of the rooms and guests.

The woman at the check-in desk was very pleasant and friendly. Room was basic but very clean and quiet. The bed was comfortable and you can’t beat the price.

Sheets had stains on it when we arrived. We got the top duvee cover replaced but noticed the bed sheets also had stains too.

My only complaint was that the floor was very gritty/dirty. If there had been a broom, I gladly would swept the floor. Otherwise, it was fine.

I don’t know if I got the worst room in the place or what, but it was SO DIRTY and falling apart. I was so surprised, after reading many other reviews before booking. We actually went and bought Lysol wipes to clean the common surfaces, white wipes turned black. Common areas like doors, switches etc. The peel and stick tiles in the bathroom are lifting off the floor and a disgusting gooey sludge was seeping up between them when stepped on. Tiles falling off the wall in the bathroom. Bathroom vanity is rotten and disintegrating. The bedding was not clean at all. Actual loose dirt and stains that had been clearly wiped with a wet cloth. We went and purchased new pillows and blankets and slept ontop of everything. Absolutely horrible.

We had been looking for a hotel reasonably priced and located Ray Lyn with positive reviews. The owner greeted us and we were quickly checked in to our quiet unit in the back of the property. While the complex is older, it has been well preserved and had comfortable bed, TV, fridge, microwave, and a coffee maker. The suit was clean with an awesome shower, heating and AC available. It was centrally located if you wanted to go to Trail, Warfield or Rossland. We would recommend the Ray Lyn Motel!
