Hotel Muralto was an excellent choice which was made even better by the staff at the front desk. Sandro was very professional and very helpful. The rooms was perfect and the location was perfect. Restaurants were within walking distance. We would certainly stay at Hotel Muralto again.

Clean, modern, well-run, conveniently located. Ideal for a solo traveller on a short stay. Very reasonable price, especially by Swiss standards. Excellent breakfast. Friendly staff, but then I have some Ticino roots.

Great hotel right in the middle of Locarno. Walking distance to everything. Gave us an upgraded room with lake view. Very clean and seems recently upgraded. Staff was great and we are even staying an extra night.

Hotel is extremely clean. Breakfast was amazing. A lot of variety. Location was only one block from train station and main square. Overall our experience was excellent. You won't be disappointed. But of course the rooms are small. That's Europe though. We expected it.

While to hotel is nice and staff extreemly friendly, location was not good for me with wife in wheelchair. Had to change hotel. Booked this hotel for 5 nights and manage would not give us a refund, so we had to pay for a room we did not use. One night penalty would have been acceptable, but not 4 or five nights.

This hotel was truly amazing. The front desk lady was incredibly helpful knowing we will arrive in the middle of the night she made it possible that we had parking right by the door and the key was hidden in a safe place so that we were able to get to the room and have a really good sleep after the long travels. Thank you so very much for making that possible for us. The room was extremely clean and next morning we had an enjoyable breakfast. There was something for everybody because there was a wide variety of food. Great stay, we would highly recommend this hotel.

Nice hotel in a good location close to central Locorno and the Muralto waterfront. Clean and spacious rooms. Book parking early. Good, bit expensive.

The hotel offers amazing views but not from all rooms, so check that the room you have booked with Hotels.com offers that. I had to upgrade directly with the hotel on check in to get my view. But it was really worth it!

We stayed in Hotel Garni Muralto for 2 nights in June. We had the most perfect stay and i do not have a single complaint about our stay here. The hotel was easy to find and we had called ahead to reserve a parking space for the duration of our trip. From arrival the service was 10/10, we spoke with a few different employees on reception during our stay and every single one was extremely welcoming and friendly. The room on the top floor was stunning and we had a balcony overlooking the lake. It was so clean, spacious and tastefully decoraed - i travel a lot with my job and it is rare to find hotels which are so clean and with big rooms! Check-in and check out were quick and easy too. The hotel is a 3-4 minute walk from the waterfront. I would not hesitate to book this hotel again if we return to the area. Thank you for our wonderful stay!

We overnighted here on a drive from London to Florence. Good location with car park below hotel. Extremely friendly and helpful staff. Room rather small but very clean and well presented. Great buffet breakfast. Overall good hotel and well priced for the area.

Tucked away only 5 mins from the station, up a short steep hill, and about 10 mins walk to the lakeside. The staff were very friendly and humoured me by conversing in my basic Italian rather than immediately answering me in English (which always makes you feel silly for trying, doesn't it?). Make sure you accept the Ticino card they offer you, to get discounts on rail & boat trip tickets. Breakfast buffet was very good quality. Room very clean & comfortable, only small thing was I spilled a few spots of coffee on my duvet the first night and would have preferred that they changed it the next day, but it wasn't a big deal. Overall nice quality, good location & value.

We chose this hotel as we were staying just one night, based on price, location and availablily of on-site parking, all boxes were ticked nd the hotel is great value for money.
