We sat on the toilet in our room and the toilet cracked. We reported this to the hotel management and they charged us $2000 for the toilet! They insisted we broke their toilet! In all our rooms, the toilet seats were loose. We also found large spiders at the bottom of the pool! We tried to speak to the hotel manager but he never returned our call. Do not stay here! Lack of honesty and integrity! You’ll end up paying for the hotel’s maintenance!

4 blocks away from Izamal plaza and cathedral. Quiet and very clean. Family friendly hotel. Only suggestion or recommendation for Hotel improvement would be to have mini fridge in room.

Was a great stay, close to everything. Last minute booking and worked fine for our one night stay.

Cute hotel in Izamal, walking distance to the town centre.

Just beside our room was the water pump; it was so loud. Difficult to sleep with such noise. Staff is not prepared; we needed to do the sofa bed...

The service at the front desk was unfriendly. We could not be served breakfast until 2 tour groups were served and departed. There were 3 people in our party but they only supplied 2 water bottles and 2 towels. The room was very clean and the cleaning staff was extremely nice and efficient. I would not stay there again.

The big pool is absolutely nice in the heat. Breakfast was not nice, cold tea, plate of fruit was only papaya, almost no yoghurt...

Estuvimos muy a gusto en la habitación, todo el personal muy amable y atento, y el hotel y la alberca muy bonitos. Lo único fue que la segunda noche nos visitaron muchos “insectitos” que tal vez se podría evitar que entraran del jardín poniendo algo debajo de las puertas de las habitaciones. De ahí en fuera disfrutamos nuestra estadía y del bello Izamal.

Everything was great. Clean, spacious and with parking which is not always available in a city like Izamal.

Amazing hotel

Great/spectacular hotel, property and room. Terrible restaurant. The food was cold and service was not the greatest. All in all the hotel and room was amazing.

They should use the real photos of the room when we book. Our room with a garden view was beside the kitchen,with every client from the reception passing in front of our glass door. It was teinted but of no help when the light was on inthe room. One glass and one small bottle of water for two guests, extra was 3$.

This hotel was very pretty, it's close to downtown. The pool was great and we loved sitting outside at night with the hotel reflected in the pool. We stayed in 8 different towns during our trip to Mexico and this was probably the most comfortable bed we had. The only thing we wish would change is the lighting, it's a really harsh bright blue, we actually ended up using our phone lights to read before bed instead of turning through light on. Lamps and warmer bulbs would really improve the rooms, it was still great though.

One of the best values we have had traveling in the Yucatan. Clean, large rooms, friendly staff and very walkable. Try the La Casona Izamal restaurant when you stay here. 15min walk, great food and if you're adventurous, Bar Rogers is a must! Maybe 5mins walk.

Great for the price. Clean and quiet. Only complaints are stained towels and 40p for a cup of weak coffee.
