The room was always clean, everyone was always very attentive and nice.

Nice hotel in bacalar! The breakfast was good as well and the staff was very helpful. The only bad thing is the lack of light in the room even with the light on but not a major issue. Would recommend as it is close to the lake and restaurants

Very nice and friendly staff.

The layout around the pool, where breakfast was served as well, was unique and inviting. They were super pushy about having to tip the staff a certain amount for serving breakfast. There were signs on every table about this. It wasn't possible to leave the key at the reception for whilst going swimming in the laguna, as the guy said he couldn't promise he's be there later on.

We checked in and then walked out, booking another hotel. It is not as described, with no restaurant, breakfast only between 9 and 10am, a very unpleasant looking pool, poor quality rooms and parking on broken ground to the side. Stay well clear.

Internet was very bad, the tv wasn’t working at the beginning I told the reception and the answer was almost all the people who stay with us are from Europe and they don’t watch tv, only Americans like to watch tv eventually they came to fix the tv and not with the best actitud, also they offer parking and is only 4 spots and you have to use the street if you find something, they don’t allow you to bring your own drinks to the pool, the guy and owner at the reception wasn’t that friendly, breakfast was whatever the second day I ended up getting breakfast outside, also they give you instructions if you leave the room don’t leave any light, fan or a/c on at all and was not even a suggestion was almost like an order overall if I go back to bacalar I’ll stay on a different place

I don’t know in what universe it is acceptable to give two friends a room without a door for the bathroom. We rented two bikes and both of them were uncomfortable (wheel hitting the brake while cycling and seat too low). There is no complementary tour with the reservation, as it is advertised here. On the other hand, the staff was super friendly and the service was good.

We arrived a little early but our rooms were ready already so we could check-in right away. The rooms are nicely decorated - minimalist style. The stuff is very helpful. You can park on the street right in front of the hotel - the street is quiet. The lake is 5-min walk away, different restaurant options 5-10-min walk, center - 15-min walk. The breakfast is basic but nourishing. The only thing is it’s a bit late if you have some activity planned - 9 am. But overall a fantastic place, definitely recommended.

Fantastic rate and wonderful man who runs the place. It was rainy when I was there and the lagoon was a little gloomy, but if I go back I’ll stay here!

The amenities and facility was well managed, and very clean. The staff were friendly, helpful, professional. They helped us with all questions and sources for local activities. I would recommend this hotel for anyone. We feel it was a great value.

Great budet hotel to visit Bacalar! Alex has all the ammenities to enjoy all the things Bacalar has to offer. We used the boat tour and the ATVs and they were great. He also recomend us many restaurants that turn out to be top notch at a very good prices. Rooms are basic, but super clean and with really nice decor. Nice bed and pillows,

The hotel is delightful, with a spacious bedrooms big patio and a wonderful host, Alex. They provide lots of fun toys for exploring Bacalar-bicycles, ATVs, even a boat. Alex went out of his way to help me with everything I needed, from giving me a table and lamp so I could work on my computer, to carry my heavy luggage up and down the steps. I would definitely stay with them again.

The staff at the hotel are wonderful. Friendly, recommending places to eat, calling cabs, etc. Our room had no bathroom door. I found that really odd and dont know if all of the rooms are like that. Also the only chairs to sit on were carved from logs, with tiny seats that would only be suitable for small children. That left only the bed to sit on and it was what is called a matrimonial sized bed which is slightly bigger than a twin bed but smaller than a double. We were just 2 friends travelling, no romance, so the set up was really awkward. Once again, the staff was so wonderful that I hope my review might lead to some modifications and wish Hotel Ade and staff all the best.

Staff were very good and place was clean and comfortable. They have a design of small stones bordering everything in the room and they are hard on the feet and also a tripping hazard. Also they have no place to hang clothes only one single wall hook. Everything else was very good.
