The rooms were fine, but there is certainly signs of deferred maintenance. Loose plumbing fixtures, broken light fixtures, no explanation on operation of A/C, television, etc. Just beginning to show its age. On the other hand, the staff are all great, food very good and THE BEACH!!!!! Would we go back? Doubtful due to deteriorating conditions.

Beautiful walking beach, great food from Greg the world class chef, staff were all very pleasant.

We’ve been to Boca de Iguanas many times before over a 35 year period because it has the best bodysurfing beach and we’ve eaten at the restaurant at Chantli Mare several times… it’s so good! This was our first stay at Chantli Mare and it was delightful… the staff, the room, the ambiance are all delightful. For our last dinner there, we asked Greg, their notable chef, to cook us a couple of lobsters in any way he thought appropriate and his preparations were fabulous! And they even let us plug in our electric/gas hybrid car for free. A beautiful place and fantastic staff.

This is a wonderful spot for a romantic getaway or to have peaceful rejuvenation on one of the nicest stretch of beach. The staff is just so welcoming and efficient.

Very comfortable rooms, delicious food, great staff and ideal location!

Staff, food, service, setting, view, beach was wonderful. We loved having our small dog with us. Our room’s deck was not as nice as the other rooms had yet they were the same price. This boutique hotel did not disappoint. We recommend and hope to return.

Beautiful magical spot, food was amazing!

We were given a room at back when we expected a room at the front. Bathroom taps leaked and toilet stopped flushing next morning. Other than that it was quiet and relaxing an food was good.

Service was good the restaurant was actually closed and we had to go to La Manzs for supper that night 10 minute drive.

Very relaxing property. Efficient and hard working staff and accommodating hosts. Directly on the beach with comfortable room. Nice restaurant that serves huge delicious portions.
