Fantastic location, nice room, great breakfast, pub downstairs

Two things to note about this hotel. 1. It is in a pedestrianised area and the nearest car park is 25 euros per day and it is about half a mile away. Not a problem for most folk. but if you have a mobility issue like I do it may be as well to check it out first. 2. Its a pub with rooms. Not usually a problem, but they charge proper hotel prices here (140 euros per night B&B) for a stay in a pub. Breakfast was Ok but not buffet and limited choices. Clean enough and staff very nice. Smallest lift I have ever seen but hey...you'll manage...

Hotel is in a prime location, with parking approx 300m away. Rooms are modern but no air conditioning, which is not the best during the summer months. Only a small fan is provided in the rooms. Breakfast is ok with decent options.

The staff and service was excellent. However the staircase to our room was very narrow and dangerous for older people. To our surprise there was no coffee or tea making facilities in the rooms.

Creaky floorboards and hot water took ages to come through but did eventually. Nice breakfast.

Kamer was kleiner dan verwacht en rook erg muf. Badkamer was verschrikkelijk. Duurde ook erg lang voordat er iemand naar de receptie kwam om ons in te checken. Ontbijt was echter wel erg lekker! En de locatie was perfect.

Modern rooms in an old building with a charming restaurant downstairs. Right in the historic center of town and close to train station.

It was a nice stay with a very nice breakfast but the web site said laundry facilities yet there was no laundry

On the Place, serounded of terrasses and restaurants but noisy specially at night..decoration of the room not great, brown carpet and one brown wall.

I would have liked to have given 5 stars but it was incredibly hot on the third floor and the fan did notmove much air, but on a cooler day it would have got a 5! Thank you

This a very charming hotel located in the heart of Breda. We had tons of dining choices. We had a great time and will stay again. Warning: This is a very old hotel and is not suitable for people with door ability to climb stairs. The elevator is very small and you must still utilize stairs to get to your room

Great location and excellent breakfast

Lovely b&b. Perfect in town location eat all of the restaurants, stores. Entry via Colonie restaurant downstairs. Lots of character with higgledy piggeldy flights of stairs leading up to our third floor room. Glad we had small suitcases to lug up. Elevator available for some rooms. Amazing breakfasts with plenty of choice. Staff were wonderful. Friday morning farmers market outside in the square.

Excellent location and value. Only two niggles (i) it would be nice if the radiators were switched on in the room before arrival in cold weather and (ii) internet access on the top floor is OK, but can be a bit flaky. But this is one of my favourite places to stay in the Netherlands

Good quality rooms for 3 star hotel. Reception very helpful. Breakfast was ok to good albeit the scrambled egg was a bit too dry!

Hotel in good location. Room small but comfortable. Restaurant served good food. All staff very helpful and welcoming. Enjoyed my stay.

A modernized, yet old-fashioned feel to it. Very comfortable and super clean.

Nice little property brilliantly situated in center of town. Exactly what we wanted, dinner was an authentic excellent Dutch offering.

Rooms only have a fan which do nothing in the summer heat, shower goes from cold to hot in an instant, toilet doesn’t work properly.
