Beautiful hotel with a very family-friendly atmosphere. An incredible breakfast and everything very clean. The best thing is that it's very close to the park and the city center. Definitely very central. But it would be nice to improve the rooms, especially for North American travelers who enjoy coffee, refrigerators, and microwaves. But in general all is great.

Stayed at a two beds room, which was minimal with a half open bathroom but just enough for a night stay on a way from Nazca to Lima. Inside the gate was like a narrow but deep corridor with many fruits trees and new and modern buildings. We felt safe and secluded from the dusty Ica center.

El Huerto Hostel was an amazing place to stay. It’s like a peaceful little pocket in the middle of the bustling centre of Ica. The courtyard is tranquil & beautiful, with flowers, plants, & birds surrounding the sitting areas. The rooms were comfortably sized with cozy beds, good wifi, & hot showers. The breakfast was among the best we’ve had at any hotel or hostel. And the staff were always super friendly & helpful with anything we needed. Only 3 blocks away from the main plaza, its location is also top-notch. If you’re travelling to Ica, we 100% recommend El Huerto Hostel. We loved it!

Lovely little courtyard area they've used and have effectively marketed with.

I enjoyed the stay at this property as it is a short walk to the Plaza de Armas and an even shorter walk to a shopping mall. The entrance to the property is a single doorway on a busy one way street which you might not see if you aren't paying attention because there is no signage. However, there are larger doors for parking vehicles. The management was very helpful in allowing to store my baggage while I was out for the day on a tour, even after having checked out. While the property is quite safe on the inside, I will caution to do your shopping and dining by early evening as the surrounding neighborhood shuts down and all storefronts lock up. This makes the neighborhood feel abandoned and unsafe when compared to wealthier districts in Lima and Cusco.

This place is definitely a HIDDEN gem. The front part probably scares you, but when you get inside, it will gladly impress you. It is small, but everything is new, clean, organized and charming. 10’ away from the bus station and 15’ away from La Huacachina (the main attraction). Breakfast is simple, but fresh 🙌

La experiencia fue espectacular. Yo no estuve presente pero no puedo describir con suficientes palabras la felicidad que fue para mis padres estar por ahi. Les encantó el lugar, la cercanía a todos los lugares cercanos y populares de la zona, la comida cercana y por sobre todo la atención. Realmente quedaron muy satisfechos con todo. ¡Muchas gracias!

Great location away from all the downtown craziness. Clean rooms and very quiet at night. Family run business well managed. If you are looking for a place to rest after a long day of siteseeing, this is your Hospedaje!!

Personnel extrêmement disponible et très aidant. Nous n'y avons pas dormi car arrivés par le bus de nuit tôt le matin, mais ils sont venus nous chercher à l'arrivée du bus, le petit déjeuner nous attendait (simple mais correct vu le prix) et nous avons pu nous allonger un peu et prendre une douche avant d'aller survoler les lignes de Nazca, bien coachés par le personnel de l'hôtel.
