We loved the quirkiness of the building and its furnishings. There are a few worrisome bulges in the floor, but the building is old. Our bed was basically two wood framed twin beds pushed together, so it wasn't too cozy. The staff were super friendly and helpful.

This hotel has a lot of history in their walls. A good choice for those not looking for SPA The kitchen is very good, and the breakfast excellent. Worth every penny

The over madrass in bed was to soft. Food is perfect. Service and dinner was very good Very charming in 2017 to share bathroom :)

More of a time capsule than a hotel. Everything is as if it was from the 1920/1930's. So the water in the restaurant is served from a bucket, the toilet is the old style with a chain up high, and there is no TV or radio in the room (but there is wifi) Stayed for just one night on the way to Bergen, but I understand that many people use it as a base for salmon fishing or trekking. Owner, Jimmy, made breakfast to order as well as amazing home cooked chocolate creations.

A lovely friendly atmosphere, with a ghost story that shouldn't be missed. This hotel is not for the pampered if you like something different this is it

Bra service og hyggelig betjening. Enkel frokost, men kjempe god middag. Sengene/madrassene kunne med fordel ha vært byttet ut. Dørene til rommene lager mye støy da de må dras hardt igjen for å klare å lukke dem ordentlig.

Fantastisk god mat, Fiskesuppen fortjener topp karater. Og vertskapet var bare fantastiske flotte mennesker, anbefales på det varmeste

Vi hadde en flott opplevelse på Poulsens Hotell. God service, fine folk som var opptatt av hvordan man hadde det, og nydelige omgivelser. Veldig god frokost og nydelig middag.

Stede er fra den gamle tiden og har fasiliteter fra den tid. Mottagelse og betjening er meget huggelig og du vil følr deg vel mottatt. Stedet anbefales virkelig hvis du liket litt nostalgi.

Det var spesielt og koselig å bli tatt .med tilbake til gamle dager. Veldig gjennomført!

A most beautiful hotel, whose interior takes you back a century. A very cosy atmosphere and a timeless experience. Very friendly and helpful staff (even in perfect German). Very good breakfast. Fast internet available.

Det borde framgå att det bara fanns en toalett och dusch till 10 st dubbelrum på övervåningen , det andra badrummet med toalett låg en trappa ner bredvid receptionen . Stor besvikelse,Borde upplysas i hotellbokningen. Inga sänglampor på rummet . Mycket märkligt . Bör också upplysas att frukost inte serverades innan kl. 9.0 på lördagar.
