The place was nice and quiet. Near La Boquita is a plus.

When we arrived, there was no one at reception. We were told at the restaurant to come baxk in 15 minutes, the fellow at reception had left for personal reasons. Half hoir later we che ked in. In our room, the remote batteries for the tv were dead, the shower did not drain, the fawcets were near impossible to turn and the patio door frame was falling off. We mentioned this a to the receptionist when we left.

When we checked in. No One knew about our reservation, we had to pay cash until hey figured things out when we got to our room AC doesn’t work room was smelly and not clean, they tried to find another room but A/C didn’t work either…we couldn’t stay, we just moved to a different hotel, bad experience. I hope they refund me because it wasn’t our fault. Not going back, and I won’t recommend this to anyone.

The experience was good, it's not a hotel it's a condo, property is in good condition, pools were warm, it is in general good for families.

Palma Real Hotel is very secluded and provides with beautiful views of Manzanillo and the ocean. It has access to La Boquita via a bridge from the mountain side over the river and on to the beach. The pools are also very nice and clean, and the rooms/studios are all the same so if you see a picture of one then you have seen them all. The only down side to our stay was that there was not hot water to shower with. We called the front desk and where told they would take a look but no one came by. Since we had kids with us that was a big deal but for adults we could have dealt with it for the trade off of the rest of the hotel. Also, no wifi nor free breakfast and its on a mountain side, so lots of stairs and hill climbs.

Loved great hotel I recommend it to anyone who wants to be with a family vacation

The cleaning service was poor. Only two times dueing 12 days. Not changue of towels and not chabgue of bed sheets. In the reservation process they siding inform about that.

I do like the location, because it’s very private. But the service is terrible, and owner has no concern a all the needs, no internet, the beach is about 200 yards from the location, water in the swimming pool is cool and not to clean, the I can say. The picture shows in the internet is a big lie, shower get plug and you have to wait for the water goes down,and many more than I don’t want to remember.

Tranquility, Lovely vegetation and amazing view from our balcony. The location was clean, the staff was kind and welcoming. We were the only guests in our building so it was quiet and relaxing. Two downsides: the 4km drive from the main highway to the Hotel is long and a little scary at night.... 2nd the parking, no parking near our room, had to hike up a hillside road to get to our room. If you want a true getaway, far away from the hustle and bustle of the city, this is the place for you.

We have lived and traveled in Mexico for Months. So I give this review with a bit of Experience. To Start, ensure you will not miss your visit at this hotel if you decide to book here, because they will not refund you any of your money regardless of the reason. Second the hotel room are very old and are in need of a full reno. They also have no room safes only a small lock box that you must bring your own lock for. They are no extra with this hotel they do not supply water at all, you only receive toiletries once at the beginning of your stay and they are never replaced. Also they only clean the room once during your stay so you have to decide how long you want to go with dirty towels and face clothes. They never changed the sheets during the stay only remade the bead the on the one visit. Now beside the room, the hotel only has one restaurant which is fairly decent and what kept us going there beside, the fact we had no place else to go was the hotels one asset that was Saul the Restaurant Manager and head server. He was very friendly and helpful. The closest place to get water and any supplies or other food is a 5km walk into the closet area. The beach across the bridge is quite dirty and packed shoulder to shoulder with people. So I try to say at least one good thing about every place I stay and most cases this is easy, but this place was hard. I will say the view from the balcony was great and they do keep the grounds very well at the hotel. My advice don't book here.

Position of the hotel was very scenic and close to beach restaurants. The hotel restaurant was disappointing, quality of food and cooking did not match the view. Our room was comfortable but the bathroom area had a lingering unpleasant odor, the maid did her best but the sewage system needs review.

Hotel is beautiful, customer service is Horrible, restaurant only opens at 9:00am to 5:00pm There is No room service of any kind between 5:01pm To 8:59am, and when hotel staff takes you to your Villa you are transported on the back of an old truck as if we were animals

It was very relaxing and the atmosphere was placid. A very good place to be relaxed.
