Nice rooms, friendly staff, walking distance to everything

Lovely clean room great staff

Room was abit run down cracks in the walls the basin was chipped and scratched.everything just looked tired for its price.

Inclusive, stylish, clean and with excellent attention to detail. Great welcome and great service and food by the restaurant.

We had a lovely tasteful room with everything colour coordinated. The amenities were excellent, the bed was most comfortable, the shower was good and it was very quiet….what more could one want? The reception staff were super friendly and check-in and out was a breeze. We highly recommend this gem of a motel/hotel

Great reception. Wonderful room. Comfortable bed. Lovely restaurant great service. Amazing dark chocolate sorbet. However cracks in plaster need to be repaired, no usb sockets and cant fill kettle from sink. This said amazing stay.

The welcome

Sunnymead is pursuing a cool retro art deco concept that we found very attractive. The room interiors seem to have been renovated with new bathrooms and comfortable beds. The weather did not cooperate for us to enjoy the pool area but we can see how that would be fun during warmer weather. If they want to take the property to the next level they could upgrade the single pane windows with double glazed so the bathrooms are not freezing despite having the heat running all night. Also, the nespresso coffee machines are a nice touch but ours in unit 10 was old and not functioning properly.The location is excellent for walking and there are a number of dining options nearby.

An absolutely amazing gem of a place..best accommodation, value for money I have been in a while and ive been travelling Australia for 6 weeks. Everything colour co-ordinated, bathrobes, towels, cutlery, tableware, Everything you could think of sunnymead had!. I wish I could have stayed longer

Sunnymead is a lovely oasis on the Ocean Road. The room was set up very thoughtfully.

Loved the room/mattress. The pool can be a bit cleaner! The lack of clothes hanger in the bathroom is annoying but not a big deal.
