Had to pick up a key on the sidewalk in a locked container. Booking was for a room in a tiny 3-bedroom apartment on outskirts of Chinatown. Bed was clean and I didn't notice any bedbugs. The rest of the apartment was a bit dirty and the floors were noticeably not swept and the washroom sink had a layer of grime. There was no towel in the room. The room window faces a busy street.
Pros: good neighborhood and close to downtown. Lots of bars and restaurants just a block or two away. Have access to stove, microwave, fridge, a few utensils, and a bathroom shared with one other person. Room had a desk, chair, bed, small side table, and shelf. Public transit routes nearby.
Cons: low security, room window faced a noisy street, could be cleaner.
Overall, check-in and out was smooth, it served the purpose as a place to lay my head, and all went well. Bring your own towel and sandals for the shower floor. Good for a very short stay, someone on a budget, or emergencies.
