If you are booking an Executive/Luxury Room here based on the explicit promise of "climate-controlled air conditioning," pack summer pajamas and lowered expectations.
We paid a premium luxury rate only to discover the hard way that this property operates on a rigid central system. Translation: if the building management decides it’s not cooling season, your digital wall thermostat is a decorative wall ornament. Our room was locked at a warm, stifling 25°C (77°F). When we politely notified the front desk that our premium room was a sauna, Rico the night agent dropped by, confirmed the AC physically could not cool the room down, and handed us an oscillating desk fan as a "luxury solution." To top it off, the customer service experience at midnight was surprisingly hostile and rude for a boutique brand.
Adding to the logistical adventure, the hotel entirely failed to disclose massive, pre-planned local marathon street closures happening directly outside. We were informed that the entire area locks down tightly from 6:00 AM to 11:00 AM, effectively trapping guests on the property during peak morning check-out hours with zero vehicular escape.
When escalated, the booking platform's supervisor formally documented in writing that the hotel confirmed the unit was "working at 25°C" and considered that acceptable cooling.
If you value basic environmental control, a professional staff, or the ability to leave a property at check-out time without a marathon bib, avoid this location.
