There was construction out front, there is no option to swim as the water out front is quite dirty/murky. This is common there however. The staff and room were wonderful. Resort was empty, we had an amazing dinner there TOP NOTCH, but did not eat there otherwise. Again, staff was so friendly and nice. Nice resort but just far removed from where we discovered we wanted to be in San Pedro. A lot of new development construction happening in the area currently.

The room was clean and the housekeeper stopped by daily. The screen door to the balcony needed to be pulled from the bottom bc it was jammed and old. Only one chair on the balcony. The A/C barely worked from day one but as the days went on our room just got hotter and our ceiling fan slowed down significantly. By the last day we were sleeping with the balcony door open and the bathroom blower on because it was so unbearably humid in the room. It was so humid, I would pull clothes out of my suitcase and they felt wet. It was literally hotter inside than outside. The nice pictures you see are of the back of the building and the front is an underwhelming parking lot on the same strip as multiple other much nicer resorts. Everywhere we passed seemed nicer with more of a vacation feel. Also the shower water didn’t get very hot and the water pressure was bad, it kinda trickled out. There was a smart tv in our room but the hotel doesn’t have any streaming services set up so all you can watch without logging into your personal accounts is youtube with ads. We didn’t spend a lot of time in the room because there’s so much to do in San Pedro, so it didn’t ruin anything for us but I can’t really recommend this place to anyone I care about either.

This was our 2nd time in San Pedro, Belize Bananas on the Beach was a great option, it’s clean, the staff is super friendly and the price is reasonable.

We went during slow season so there was not a lot of people around which it was okay with us. The staff was super friendly, our room was super clean.
