The rooms are great, breakfast is included and the location is the best. The absolute best thing about this place is their staff. Linda in housekeeping was so helpful and kind. The bartenders and wait staff are friendly and knowledgeable. The chefs food is divine (Vester restaurant is below). Would highly recommend staying here for business or holiday.

Amadeus Hotel is situated in Harlem City Center, very close to the Market Place & the church, and just a 10-minute walk from the Haarlem Railway Station. The check-in process at the restaurant on the ground floor was smooth, and I was assigned a room on the 2nd floor. There was an old elevator in operation. Luggage could be stored before and after the checkout on the 1st floor. The room looked outdated, was basic, but clean, sufficiently spaced & the bed was large. The room was equipped with a working table, a chair, a bedside table, a heater, a cupboard, an electric kettle, and a bedside fan. The bathroom was sufficiently spaced & it was clean. Hot water worked without an issue. Towels, soap & amenities were available. The breakfast provided was a big plus, and it had variety. Overall, a great stay in Haarlem.

Amadeus is right in the centre of Haarlem, so a great location. The room was functional, but clean and all that I needed. The bar on the the ground floor had a good vibe, and was where the breakfast, which was good, was provided. The staff were really pleasant and helpful.

It was a hotel, there was a shower and toilet on each room. In the morning you could help yourself to a breakfast buffet, i found the lack of crispy bacon disturbing. It was acceptabele, fine for a once in a lifetime experience, but one where you don't brag about it.

Location was great and staff were very kind (however it was not obvious that the “check in” was to be done at the restaurant below - there were no indications). The room was very small. The bathroom was equally as small. As we unfolded the blanket on one of the beds, a dirty sock fell out which begs the question if the sheets were even washed and replaced! The rooms were definitely not sound proof as we could hear the guests below and to our right of our room. Not the most pleasant. From the front rooms we could also hear everything going on in the square and at the restaurant below. A nice surprise was that we received 2 vouchers for drinks at the restaurant (beer, wine or sodas included) and breakfast in the morning (nice spread of fresh croissants, breads, cold cuts, cheeses, yogurts, cereals, and fresh orange juice). For the price it was decent but I would not necessarily recommend.
