Spectacular secluded location, easily drivable to town. Guest house was charming and Francesco provided exceptional personalized client service. Their wine was fantastic. Pool overlooking river was delightful. Beautiful vineyard walks. Fresh lemons and oranges. Scrupulous breakfast. Did we love every minute- YES we did!!

We really enjoyed our stay. Francisco was the best -very friendly, great service, and fantastic recommendations for dinner, boat tour, and other quintas to visit. It was nice to meet the owners as well and talk with them about the harvest season. Will definitely recommend and will come back the next time we’re in the Douro.

Beautiful location/setting. Pool was nice at end of a long day. Staff were wonderful,we had an amazing evening enjoying a dinner and wine while taking in the view on our patio. Personal touch as only five guest rooms. Breakfast in morning was included and great way to start off the day

This is a gorgeous Quinta with exceptional accomodation and staff. The pool was fantastic on a very hot afternoon and evening. The small food menu was perfect to pair with the wine and port produced at Dona Matilde made more special served outside the rooms on tables over looking the Douro river as the sun set.

Wonderful small quinta with a pool, excellent breakfast buffet, spectacular views of Douro river and friendly staff.

I cannot say enough how beautiful our stay was! Phillip greeted us on arrival with port and showed us his beautiful property! It was very relaxing and close to many outstanding restaurants and wineries! We most enjoyed our self at the pool or exploring the property! Breakfast was amazing too!

Underbart ställe! Personalen är så trevliga och det känns verkligen som att bo hemma hos någon. Fantastiskt! Vi njöt av vin, god mat & vinprovning. Det enda vi kan säga något om är att sängen var ganska liten men rummet väldigt fräsch & vi sov ändå bra.

Excelente lugar, minimalista, solo 5 cuartos, viñedo lindo. Recomiendo

Einfach wunderbar! Sehr schön gelegen mit Blick auf Douro. Toller Swimming pool in dem man Längen schwimmen kann. Sehr aufmerksames und freundliches Personal. Kleine Snackkarte für Abendessen und der hauseigene Wein war sehr sehr gut. Ideales Haus für einen Zwischenstopp auf einer Douro Tour - wir waren mit E-Bike unterwegs.

Fantastisk härligt besök! Underbar liten, mysig och hemtrevlig vingård, med snäll och tillmötesgående servicepersonal och magisk utsikt från terrassen och poolen. Vi kommer definitivt tillbaka! Vinet från vingården var dessutom den bästa vi har haft på hela resan. Bra att veta är att snacks eller vin finns enbart tillgänglig fram tills 19 på kvällen (man kan dock förbeställa så det finns på rummet när man kommer hem). Utöver är allting något spartansk, men enkelheten passade oss utmärkt och det fanns allt vi behövde!
