Unter den Linden is a quiet, family run hotel, convenient for Rudesheim. It is our preferred choice when in the area. Comfortable and good value.

Some of the sheets need replacing because they were old and discoloured. Nice that the property provided an extra room when I asked for 2 separate beds.

The main road to Rüdesheim is closed but it was a minor inconvenience. Extremely nice staff, breakfast is great and we enjoyed a dinner there as well.

Great location, smart, friendly hotel, good food and comfortable clean room with great view. We went in heatwave and no air con - but fan provided. We went for Rhine in flames festival and great views of 2 firework displays and boats. River boats stop just opposite hotel and great value 'ring ticket' allows open ski lift to top of hill, walk to next ski lift down into Rudenheim, and then boat return for £20.

A great hotel in a perfect location!

Restaurant and location. Jacob, our waiter several nights was personable, attentive and fun The restaurant was a great location outside in front of the hotel. It would of been better if they seated smokers at one side of the outdoor restaurant and non smokers at the other. Germany in general allows smoking at outdoor seating which can be unpleasant for non smokers

One of the best hotels we have stayed in. The setting was stunning, the hotel was well run, with friendly staff who spoke English well enough to give us info on the local area and make up for my meagre knowledge of German. The breakfasts were excellent and sitting outside in the evening, watching the traffic on the Rhine with a beer (or two) was blissful. The village of Assmannshausen was full of character and the nearby town of Rudesheim lively. We will definitely return to the Unter den Linden in the next year or two.

Very quite hotel in a great location. The office staff were very friendly, providing an upgrade and making sure even though it was hot outside, that we had fans to keep us cool. The breakfast and view were beautiful and walking distance to some cute little dining options.

Large spacious room staff at check in and restaurant exceptional. My first time ever after staying in 100's of hotels at breakfast our table was set with a porcelain name plaque with our name on it and a hot pot of coffee. If i could i would give it a 6 star in this 900 year old town. PROST

Very nice and clean Hotel Specious room n big bathroom Nice shower Location good Free parking Staff is not friendly I asked for veg dish, when I started eating I found chicken pieces in it I told them we are strict veg , can’t eat meat They were not happy and after 1/2 hr they got veg dish No apologies

We had a absolutely wonderful stay. If you wanted to be treated like family this is the place to stay. Highly highly recommended!

We had a lovely stay here and felt very safe due to all the precautions they have in place to keep us each safe and healthy. The owners and all the staff were very friendly and helpful. We look forward to returning someday. The pictures are a view from our balcony in the evening and a view from waking up in the morning.

The manager at this property was very kind, helpful, and concerned that I have a pleasant stay, and so I did! I was aware of the fact that trains run almost constantly directly behind the hotel, and I expected the noise to be disruptive, but I got used to it, without even using earplugs. The river view was so gorgeous, the location so uncrowded yet convenient, and the restaurant so appealing, that I have to recommend this hotel despite the trains. I would definitely stay here again. Breakfast was fantastic and parking the easiest of any on my 14 day trip.

Loved the location and we're treated wonderful.

Wonderful stay. Hotel staff was very friendly, food was excellent and the hotel is immaculate. Enjoyed our stay so much we extended it for an additional night. They were very accommodating. Hotel is also very affordable with free parking.

Positive: recommedation to take lift up, walk thru the wine yards/Forrest & take lift down to Ruedesheim & take boat back made for a lovely day out, breakfast was tasty & loads of variety, bed was comfortable, bathroom very clean, great view from our balcony, gentlemen at the front desk was very friendly & helpful & thanks for his recommedation we wouldn't have had such a great day, fast/easy Internet. Negatives: lady at the front desk & a couple of the restaurant staff were a bit short of patience, dinner I ordered wasn't available, pillows not comfortable but at least the ones in the closet were usable. Free parking, free internet, free breakfast made for a wonderful stay, even dogs are allowed. Located in quiet part of town but different means of travel allow one quick access to Ruedesheim where all the action was. Outside of hotel was beautiful, choice of indoor or outdoor dining, good atmosphere and a great view of the Rhein. We enjoyed our stay & would recommend it to others.

We have just returned home after a 4 night stay at this lovely hotel. Location is so beautiful,rooms are very comfortable and we were lucky to have a balcony with a stunning view. We had breakfast ,very good.we also ate dinner at the hotel on 2 of the nights we stayed. Would 100% recommend this hotel,friendly staff and beautiful location. We stayed for our 21st wedding anniversary and i am so pleased we chose this hotel
