Fantastic hill view

Great views with outdoor dining, walk to unesco site, helpful staff, without fridge or hot water in rooms, but minor compared with location!

Sehr gute Lage zum Wandern (Wartburg/ Luther Weg/ Drachenschlucht/ Eisenach), kostenlose Parkplätze. Frühstück sehr umfangreich, auch Rührei und Lachs inklusive. Zimmer mit Blick auf Wartburg war komfortabel.

The hotel is located in a beautiful hill, and had a view to the Wartburg Castle. That alone is enough to justify our stay in the facility. The restaurant has good food, but service is a bit tardy.

Front desk staff were very accommodating and professional. Restaurant dinner and breakfast were excellent. If you are headed to Wartburg Castle, it is a 1km walk through the woods on a wide, well maintained trail that is relatively flat...beautiful!

Incredible view of Warburg Castle

We arrived from a 10 hour flight, then travelling by car another 2 hours to the hotel-only t be met with staff, not flexible enough to check us in 1 hour early-although the hotel did not appear overly busy. Our stay in August was during the heat of summer, yet the hotel has no AC (ok, not every facility is equipped with AC), but a 50 euro fan (ventilator) can be placed in each unit to accommodate the guests. At 10pm guests are being advised to move off the large patio (a patio that provides a splendid view to the Wartburg castle-and the only reason why we selected this hotel over any other). Bar service stopped prior 10pm (acceptable), but being told to move inside is not.

We spent two nights in Eisenach. This hotel was convenient to Wartburg, which we wanted to tour. The internet was very poor in our room. The staff was somewhat underwhelming in their efforts to smooth things over for us. Likely would choose another hotel in the future, but if these issues aren't important to you, this is a nice, convenient place to stay.

Not very much was in English, but enough of the staff spoke some that we were able to communicate.

LOVED this property! It was outstanding. It was a little hot, and GPS didn't like finding it (ended up using just the map), but it was worth it. Beautiful views, including of the Wartburg and great walking trails. Great staff, good food, and a royal experience.

Angenehme Lage

Somewhat dated older institutional property located at the top of a hill above a town. Access to the room was a bit more difficult than anticipated as we had to lug suticases on a rather circuitous route to the back of the hotel complex. Overall a decent place for a one-night stay.

Schönes klassisches Hotel in sehr guter Lage zum Wandern und für Besuche auf der Wartburg. Toller Ausblick von der Terasse auf Burg und den Thüringer Wald. Service etc. war top. Einzig die Gerichte im Restaurant sind geschmacklich nichts allzu besonderes und preislich dennoch nicht günstig.
