Breakfast and the staff are excellent, Dining in was terrible, staff sent us the wrong food the the food we ordered was so salty. I cooked jager schnitzel with champignon and the sauce was so salty, salty, salty.

Excellent place to stay! The staff there was excellent! Although we had a bit of a language problem (my German is rusty and the staff did not speak much English) Our stay was wonderful. Great place to stay if you are heading to Herrenchiemsee or Frueninsel (I recommend both!). The cost was lower than staying in Prien. Parking in Gstadt was a short walk to the ferry. Breakfast buffet was typical continental with fresh bread and rolls, lunch meat, boiled eggs, cereal, yougurt, tea and coffee. No problem getting filled up for a day of sightseeing. I definitely would recommend!

Excellent find

This was such a a cute stay and I really enjoyed all the in house dining options. The housekeeping and inn keepers were super bubbly and helpful. A complete stay from breakfast to bedtime I felt I was truly catered to. The only complaint I have is the front desk hours, I had an early flight and the website advertisses a 24 hour front desk, however when I went to turn in my key and such no one was available. Aside from that I have no complaints, the staff really did a wonderful job of making me feel welcomed in my stay so far away from home. :)

Peaceful, serene surroundings. Very comfortable and familiar setting.

Great location and good rooms. Nice view over the village from the balcony.

We enjoyed our stay overall but for future travellers, note that there's no lift in this place. Also if you are a light sleeper request a room on the "quiet" side of the building ie furthest from the church tower which rings bells at 7am and further from the main road which passes very close to the hotel.

Very nice and helpful staff. Restaurant had very tasty food also good and friendly service.

Decent size rooms, breakfast was okay, but could have some more choices of hot food. The restaurant has a good choice to eat and there is a good Italian restaurant just 2 minutes walk from the hotel. The main issue is that the whole ground floor is a restaurant. We were unlucky to move in on Friday. The restaurant cannot be heard in the room. But when guests start to leave the restaurant you can hear a lot of screaming of drunk people and door slamming. For some reason, when any door on any floor is slammed there is vibration going through the hotel and all furniture makes a loud squeaky noise. Also the heating was full on, so there was a dilemma of leaving the window open to hear people leaving the restaurant at 1am. Would never come back again.

Alles bestens gerne wieder

Wir hatten ein schönes, neuwertiges Zimmer. Besonders gut haben uns die bequemen Matratzen gefallen. Auch das Bad war einwandfrei sauber mit einer geräumigen Dusche. Das Frühstück war reichhaltig und ließ keine Wünsche offen. Es wurde bis zum Ende der Frühstückszeit nachgelegt. Wir haben uns insgesamt sehr wohl gefühlt.

Ich würde die Unterkunft weiter empfehlen. Schöne Zimmer und sehr gutes Essen.
