Edison was very helpful and a great host! I enjoyed having the hammocks , AC , laundry service , a kitchen and fridge to share with other guest and the best empanadas right on the corner !

I arrived with no staff present for almost an hour, while I wrote in Whatsapp to Arnette day before I arrived; so she knew the time window to greet me before arriving. I was very upset there was nobody there to help me check in. Then I had to pay Cash, very sudden, and rude surprise; so I paid cash. I asked her to call me a Taxi, and she said no need, I can just pick one up outside. She was unprofessional business perdon. I cannot at all recommend her place to stay.

White House Galapagos was a nice, clean place to stay. It’s nothing fancy and the front desk is usually empty but for a budget place to stay it does the job!

Pros: The room serves its purpose and I liked it. Cons: When I got there they said my reservation did not appear in their system. You have to pay in cash only. The area around the property felt a little unsafe and there was a cockroach in my room.

It was a really nice place to stay, they have bikes for rent, it's like being at home. You can use the kitchen and cook. The only thing would be that the rosters around the area sing really early. Besides that, it's a good place to stay 5/5

It was at walking distance from the piers. There was a shared kitchen for guests to prepare and store their food. Drinking water was also available there. The only comment is about the hosts - they were always never around. There was nobody to help with transportation and questions. Payment was cash only!

Lots of hammocks and space to hang out. You can rent bikes from here for $10 a day but we did get a flat while using them. They’re okay bikes. Clean and nice spot to stay.

The property was very well maintained and clean. We stayed here for 5 days and we thoroughly enjoyed it.. we were mostly out visiting the islands and used to come back to rest for the night.. the kitchen was great to get us going with breakfast...

Very basic but did the job. The offered coffee was not very appealing, but they provided bottled water in the kitchen.

The room was clean, no frills. Fresh towels every day and very nice housekeeping. The front desk was helpful when they were around, not overly friendly. We did not use any tour services on site. I think my favorite part was the woman who came to clean up during the day. I didn't get her name, which I regret (my spanish was very rusty and she was a native-only speaker), but she was very nice and always asked about how we were doing. We even saw her out in the town one night, and she asked how our night was going. Overall, I thought this was a very nice stay for the cost.

The White House was a pleasant surprise. Vary comfortable, clean, close to everything. Vary secure felt safe. Management was helpful and friendly. I usually don’t do reviews but this one really deserved one. Price was good also.

One big motivator for selecting this location for our stay was the "24 hour shuttle" available for $30 (round trip) from Baltra. This was attractive as it is quite difficult to travel from Baltra airport to Puerto Ayora ($5 bus, $1 ferry, and then a $25 taxi or $5 bus depending on your arrival/departure). Upon booking our stay we attempted to contact the hotel multiple times to arrange the shuttle and had our hotel in Quito attempt to arrange with them on our behalf to learn they would not provide any help with transport. The WiFi is terribly slow and unreliable. The only toiletries provided are tiny bars of soap. Additionally, the surrounding area is delapidated. We would have enjoyed Puerto Ayora more if we had stayed somewhere else (perhaps closer to the port). The listing should be updated to correct these incorrect details.

This was a very comfortable place to stay and the communal kitchen is a nice convenience. There is a large (for the island) grocery store 2-3 blocks away. It is only a short walk to Baltra, which is a major street with anything you might need and runs straight to the harbor.
