Although in a busy area, the guest house is situated in a quiet back street. The rooms were very quiet & EXTREMELY comfortable.Very comfy bed with good mattress & fluffy duvet. Brilliant shower. In fact everything was just right. Great value for money. Will revisit as brilliant location too.

The view of the pyramids from the rooftop dining area was breathtaking. The staff is hospitable, kind, and very helpful. The room was clean and well-kept. The neighbourhood in which the hotel is located is not for the faint of heart; there you might experience a culture shock like I did. Horse and buggy, camels, and tuktuks are prevalent modes of transportation in the neighbouring street, so you will inevitably step on a road apple or two if you take a walk down to the shops. I felt safe and comfortable inside the room at night, and the neighbourhood was really quiet at night.

This hotel is very convenient for visiting the Sphinx and pyramids. It's comfortable and welcoming. It's a bit hard to find so it's wise to organise a pickup from the airport, which was straightforward. The restaurant food is basic, but tasty. Breakfast is on par with most other Egyptian hotels. Overall, very good value for money.

Highly recommended! Sun and Sand Hotel is comfortable and the staff are very friendly. The amenities are simple but nice and clean. The staff made good suggestions for tourist attractions. The area Giza is very close to the pyramids and there is an excellent view from the rooftop where the restaurant is. The chef is a true gentleman who makes amazing dishes! Giza is by no means an opulent area - so be mindful of this, so that you are not put off by the surroundings. We felt well looked after throughout our stay and would definitely go to the Sun and Sands Hotel in Giza again.

Incredible service. Staff made themselves very available if you needed anything 24/7. Free breakfast everyday was very convenient and delicious. The view from the roof where breakfast is served is incredible and accessible 24/7. I got sick towards the end of the trip and was assisted by Yasser who was very helpful in getting me necessary medicine. The room I stayed in was very clean and modern and had all new furnishings. The only fault of the room was a lack of windows to provide daylight. The laundry service was great, my clothes were cleaned and pressed for very cheap. The security there is very good for anyone with concerns about this. I am so thankful for everyone at Sun and Sand for making my trip as incredible as they did.
