Accommodation in architecturally interesting building separate from reception and breakfast room. Good breakfast. No bar, or mini-bar available. A bed-and-breakfast more than a hotel. Comfortable room, but bathroom ready for maintenance over the winter. Excellent restaurant nearby.

Great stay. Recommend this hotel if you are traveling to the left bank. Staff very friendly and knowledgeable. Great breakfast in a beautiful room. They also own the winery down the road 3 meters and can arrange a 35 euro tour and wine tasting. Pierre was our guide and gave us a fantastic tour.

Pasamos muy bien, tiene un patio y una terraza que vale la pena para sentarse a disfrutar del entorno, la habitación amplia y cómoda pero necesita renovación urgente de cortinas, alfombras y retapizado de los muebles . Desayuno excelente .

We had a great time at Hotel de Margaux. We stayed in the Suite Vénitienne which is a large apartment in a little chateau close to the hotel with a view on a nice pool and a vineyard. The host was very nice. Too bad that their restaurant was closed and we had to go outside for dinner.

Not staffed at all, keys just left in our room doors to an open and vacant property. We requested x2 double rooms and got a twin and double. One double room only had a single bath towel not two and the worst thing was.. bed bugs! I was bitten everywhere. Worst thing is there was absolutely no one around to help or complain to. A beautiful hotel & setting but the service was the worst I’ve experienced with the added bites- avoid!

We loved staying in the Chateaux across from the hotel. It was so quiet, unspoilt and pleasant. Anna and the other staff were so kind and helpful. Would definately stay again.

We arrive early Sunday evening and no one was at the hotel. In French only it gives you a number to call. Our phone would not connect. We stopped a gentleman to call for us. Turns out the door was open and key in the room. Restaurant closed. We hadn't eaten since breakfast and there was absolutely nothing open anywhere. Not even a Tabac. We split a granola bar and an orange from breakfast. Would have appreciated a heads up on line regarding check in and a caution regarding no services in town, or perhaps a little something in the room for us.

The Pavillion is a very comfortable place to stay. My room was clean and the staff were very helpful. I did not have a car so the trip by bus and tram/train into Bordeaux was 11/2hrs each way. The food at the restaurant was good for the first several days, however as the week went on the menu became sparse.

The kettle can’t be plugged in anywhere properly- you have to hold it crouched down to the ground whilst you wait. Bit dusty. No milk in the fridge for coffee. Checked in on a Sunday afternoon, and reception wasn’t open! No one was on site! Had to call- room was left open with the keys inside. Super super unsafe. Had to call, email, text for two hours to get a WiFi code. It’s annoying as if they told me that reception was closed it would have at least given me the heads up.

Not happy with our stay. Plumbing noises from other rooms. Someone tried to come in our room one night, fortunately their key did not work. Another night someone came to our door apparently claiming to have found our key. We had our key. And all keys were labeled with the room number. We ate one night. I returned my dinner, not acceptable. They did not charge us for it. Breakfast coffee was cold and half hour before breakfast was done they were cleaning up the buffet. Glad I hadn’t wanted more.

The Hotel and staff where great (especially Paul who was very helpful). Hotel clean, breakfast was good and the view from the conservatory over the vineyards fabulous. We were pleased to find that the near by Chateau had a pool and guests had free access. We were the only guests on the day we went there. Blissful! Another plus was the close proximity to Chateaux Marquis De Terme (we visited for a tour and wine tasting, excellent) and Chateau Margaux (Visitors Centre and grounds) all in walking distance. Only down side was the evening meal. Good salad but would not recommend. Limited choices for food in the area but the Le Savoie was very good. Would definitely recommend this hotel for immersing yourself in everything wine related!!

A lovely hotel in the middle of Margaux surrounded by vineyards making a lovely idyllic setting. The rooms were large and bed comfy. We arrived rather late due to traffic but the staff were very accommodating (driving in from their own house) to welcome us. Very pleasant stay
