I arrived just after 17.00 in the evening after a 7 hr journey. The reception area and lobby were completely deserted, apart from the lone receptionist who was attentive and pleasant. Secure parking in the hotel garage cost me an additional €9.00, as the free parking is actually an uncovered site across the road. Not in the original description as I recall? The hotel is a throwback from the glorious past and the rooms small but apparently recently remodeled. Just the bare essentials here. The toilet and shower are directly opposite each other divided by the small entrance corridor. There is a new mini fridge and a washing sink basically. It was for 1 night only, and with this room that's all it ever would be. The bed was firm but the sheets clean. A ridiculous sausage pillow was provided, why do they still make these :( ? Found 2 x small square pillows that were so soft they provided zero support at all. No real curtains to speak of just a sheer piece of cotton that allowed the central courtyard lights to shine into the room all night. The unnecessary added feature of 3 x mangled flies within the folds of the curtains was just not what you would expect to see, in any hotel! Plenty of hot water on instant demand which was nice however the shower door didn't close properly due to being badly installed. Wifi is available but take the wifi connect instructions BEFORE you leave reception, no phone in the room to call down. Save yourself two flights. Didn't stay for breakfast.
