Nice hotel in a quiet town but the food was excellent at a reasonable price.

Lovely place to stay, right in the heart of town, very easy and safe parking. The staff were very nice and helpful. The room was very good for the price we paid. Breakfast was very good. The dinner meal here was absolutely fabulous, and lovely service from the staff. The wine was priced very reasonable. In all this place was a delightful place to stay, and we had great walks around the area.

This is a delightful hotel , the staff are pleasant and helpful and the restaurant is excellent . The rooms are nicely presented, clean and have.very attractive decor. Would definitely recommend it and would stay there again.

Our room was immaculately clean and very comfortable, although the bathroom was small and a rather unusual shape. The shower was excellent, though, with good water pressure and temperature control. The staff were helpful and responsive and made us feel welcome. We had a very nice meal in the restaurant on Friday evening and a good breakfast the following morning.

A friendly and helpful staff in ry nice hotel. We speak little French and they speak little English but they were always attentive and helpful. The evening meal was very good and the continental breakfast offered plenty of choice and good qualty food. The room was everything we could ask for in an overnight stay whilst travelling back for the Ferry back to England. The only thing extra we might ask for is a second chair to sit on in our double room. All in all we would recommend this hotel to anyone, but easier if you speak good French which we as typical lazy English dont.

Nice comfortable hotel though in need of little refurb. Although our booking stated check-in from 2 I received an email the day before arrival to tell me check-in was not until 6 and the restaurant would be closed. I arrived at 3;30 and managed to find the owner who with bad grace allowed us in on proviso we checked in properly later. Another guest was not so lucky and had to sit outside until 6. After 6 the attitude become much more friendly and the single option set evening meal was excellent.

Good situation, secure parking and clean room and helpful staff.

Great location and lovely small town, and best of all was the restaurant.

Overnight stay in a family room. The hotel appears to have been recently refurbished so the interior is clean and modern. The only issue we had with the room is that it is advertised as a double and two singles when in fact it is two singles and a sofa bed. The sofa bed was OK for the two kids but squeaky when they moved around which is not ideal when you are all trying to sleep in the same room. The rooms are above a quiet restaurant which had very good food and service at a reasonable price.

Our second visit to Hotel La Poste did not disappoint. The hotel is undergoing decoration inside and out, which was only a minor inconvenience. The restaurant food is still excellent, and the menus offer very good value. We had the smallest double room in the hotel, but the manager raised this with us without prompting. The location is very convenient as close to the motorway and within a couple of hours easy drive to the Normandy coast. Thoroughly recommend this hotel as a stop-over or for a few days as very good value for money. The village has bars and supermarket within a few paces of hotel.

Friendly welcoming owners. Very central for exploring town and walk to lake. Superb dinner in lovely hotel Restaraunt. Owner Eric was chef. Thoroughly enjoyable stay.

It is an older establishment with no elevators. It was very clean and neat and had quaint sitting areas. There were a number of people at their restaurant. We had already eaten but everything smelled delicious. The breakfast the next morning was very good. Parking was safe and well lit. If we were in the area again I would definitely stay there.
