The rooms were clean. The staff were lovely and accommodating. I highly recommend it.

Good size room, helpful staff. Comfortable accommodations in the very nice town of Elgin. We selected Sunninghill for it’s proximity to speyside distilleries, but Elgin is worthy of of visit on its own with its enchanting ruined 13th century cathedral, a castle, the home of the luxury cashmere company Johnston’s of Elgin, and an easy drive to Inverness or the coast. Beautiful scenery in every direction. There are plenty of similar hotels and B and Bs throughout the area. Sunninghill is a solid choice, not a luxury experience but comfortable and friendly. The restaurant has decent fare and a broad menu. Breakfast is also available. Rooms could benefit from a bit more updating and a bit nicer amenities, for example a coffee maker instead of just instant coffee with a tea kettle. A few additional details would elevate the experience.

Very nice historic hotel. Close to the train station and town center so we were able to walk around and did not need a car. There was a good-sized car park.

Very good hotel in a good central location in Elgin. Check-In and Check Out were quick and straightforward and the room I had was comfortable with a large shower. All the staff were friendly and helpful. The hotel has a nice bar with a good menu. Breakfast was very good as well.

We stayed here for two nights on our trip around Scotland and loved it. Friendly staff, clean accommodation and great food. Highly recommend.

Absolutely the best value in Elgin.. Delicious breakfast, spac’ous rooms, fast Internet, courteous staff, central location and a parking spot for your car. What else can you look for? Oh I forgot| the selection at the bar is overwhelming!

Friendly staff and comfy bed. But stains on the two chairs in the room, couldn’t open the window very far on a hot (for Scotland) day, and rust multiple places in the bathroom. Bathroom as a whole felt like it needed an update.

Staff were so kind, room was lovely. Restaurant incredible - 3 dinners there and each was different, delicious, healthy, elegant- credit to the chef and staff!

Brand new ground floor room was excellent. Dining was fabulous with Bartender/Whiskey expert John leading the way. We had a really good time and met some really nice people. Best place so far in Scotland for us!

Fantastic Hotel, ideally located and in easy walking distance for Elgin ad not far from many distillery's. Hotel was very clean, staff extremely friendly helpful and knowledgeable of the area. we will certainly be back again should be a 5 star
